I think if you’re going to go to the effort of creating an article asking a question you should at least give us some sort of opinion of your own before expecting others to give theirs

Maybe let the manager see the job through?

Some signings this month would be a good start. Clear many of the players in our squad aren’t at the required level, and our team in very unbalanced.

With that squad Emery has done well to currently have them in 5th.

Someone should tell your players that the season didn't end after the NLD, talk about "after the Lord mayors show". This all reminds me of when Spurs beat you under AVB to go 10 points clear and then threw it away.

"clearing players out" is never easy, they might be on lucrative contracts and living in London for the foreign ones is attractive so one or two yes but loads at one time, tough?

Arsenal for me are way off the top 3 maybe 4 sides but the real problem is that for 2/3 months you’re results made you look a lot closer

Utzzzzzza are in a similar now they think there a great side - the truth is they’ve just played teams that they should be beating and having watched their last few games their opponents as poor as they are were dreadful on the day

I am glad they lost. A lot of them here are desperate we don't win the league. So this defeat was a good LAA moment.

Emery is doing a spectacular job. 100% win record. Any losses have been Wengers fault

Problem is that our league position gives a false picture. We are not a top six team and I think we will struggle to get top six by May. The decline under Wenger was far more serious than anybody thought. We have a number of average mid table players on long contracts with very high wages and they will not be keen to move on. This severely limits the managers ability to bring in top class players because they will want at least the same money as the current higest paid players are getting which will push the wage bill above what is sustainable. We also have limits on the squad size so We cant bring in new players without moving some out. We cant even loan players out as clubs wont want to pick up their wages.
This is going to take at least two years to even start to get resolved.

Aye, still bitter about the Wenger sack.
And yes, he and Gadizi’s mismanagement of the playing squad is responsible for the mess we are in now.

Ahem.....

Nay saying aside

Arsenal Football Club have radically overachieved EVERY season since 2005. They were always going to get found out - even though Mr Emery has actually done surprisingly well

That was down to one person.

You just didn't get it.

The best - by a very long way - at getting the best out of average/ordinary players that the epl has ever seen.

The living embodiment of gestalt.
