I’m not buying the “players attitude” line from the media, in any walk of life if your manager is being a it’s going affect your work. Jose was CLEARLY the problem, look at how quickly struggling players improved and the team started to play exciting football, less than a week?

Also, imagine if he’d got his way and sold Martial in the summer

And brought in Willian who by all accounts is having a poor season

Willian, man they rejected £60m from Barca for him. Could you imagine if we got him and how much he'd of cost? We'd have been lumbered with a player, who even at his best was no better than what we have had for the past few years.

Just imagine

Sanchez (silly wages) Lukaku (£75m) Willian (£60m+)

Fellaini (new contract), Matic, Mata (good but slow)

This isn't all Jose's fault... But he made catastrophic, mind numbing decisions.
He's gone now, we got our club back.. can't we just all get along.
Let's wish him well on his endevours, and that's it.
Most believe in Form is temporary and Class is Permanent... i think the same about Jose.
Just run into a bad bit of form.
Step away, re-evaluate, come back stronger, and you know he will....
But thats not my problem, thats for him to sort out.
what's gone is gone. its done.
We in a different place now, we feel good. lets just focus on us....

The thing is, it was he himself that put the team in this position. He hasn't learnt from his time at Chelsea (2nd spell). He needs to look at himself rather than blame everyone else. We have more or less the same team as last season plus Dalot and Fred. We didn't lose anyone of note. The defensive issues were of his own making. He became his own worse enemy.

Without looking at himself and trying to fix his flaws and adapting, he'll not be able to get back in the elite bracket.

I agree with what you're saying China, and like i said, that's on him to work out, and i think he will re-appear on the big stage.
His record suggests as such, including the foolishness that comes with it.
PSG is where i think he'll land next...

What is done is done, we are moving forward now. Spending time over analysing Jose's flawed vision for UTD is gonna depress you....
But your last comment more or less summed him up.

Can't understand why Sanchez has gone so shat...he was colossal at Goonz for ages

posted on 15/1/19

Not read the replies but I think its as simple as people just dont care about the man anymore. He's old news and no-one cares in effect, they're looking forward.

Miles on the clock imo... Playing first team football from 17 can take its toll

For every Giggs, Maldini, Ronaldo... There's a mountain of Owens, fat Ronaldo, Fowler who get done by injuries... And Rooneys, sneijder etc who start to dip earlier than you expect

Couple of reasons:

1. Despite it being mostly his fault, it wasn't ALL his fault, regardless of tactics the players have to share some of the blame

2. He's in the past now, we're looking forward and enjoying football again and he's been quickly forgotten

3. Honestly what does it achieve at this stage to flog a dead horse..sorry, feed a fed horse

Why isn’t Mourinho getting more stick for his absolutely amateur effort leading united ?

.....................

Probably because there isn't anything nice we can say, so can't be bothered.

The comments form the players, despite none of them having a go at him directly, say it all.

I guess the best thing to say should be said on the field.

Mour-who-inho???

Same as "he who we don`t mention" in the Harry Potter books.

I think a lot of us are just glad the Jose debacle is over and are doing our best to quickly forget him.....
