Got some lightening pace and not afraid use both feet. Thats the first i'd seen of him. Some deadly balls into the box. Him and Clarke on either wing would be pretty magic.

I said the other day, he's the Welsh Jack Clarke. Hopefully get Tyler to help entice him to us. I imagine they know each other.

more from phil -

they value him at more like £3m - £5m. His deal's up in 18 months time.

long and short is that Bielsa likes what he sees of him. Rates his talent and thinks he'll fit in immediately.

A winger with pace who can get in behind, good with his feet, tidy player.

for me its the correct position to sign yes, but, if I'm totally honest I've not seen much of him.

wouldnt of thought many of us have seen much of him mate.

but hes young
looks two be able to use both feet
quick
skillful
british
champ experience
good price

so i can see the attraction

I like the look of him but haven't seen too much.

What is promising is its nice to see us going for talented, young, rated players who may have to be sold before the club loses too cheaply due to a contract situation.

We faced this for years. Filling our squad with quality, local, young homegrown players like Clarke and James will set us up well for the future.

Rich

Conversion rate from that video is poor Rich, number of times he goes past people on the outside and crosses it and there's nobody in the box to poke it home. I would imagine that Roofe would love that kind of service and could be relied on to be there to poke it home.
I also think top quality defenders should be able to negate that threat.

I remember Leighton James was a cracking player, don't know if Dan James is a relation, but if he is as good as Leighton then it would be a great signing for the club

It's a crucial signing as Alioski is at left back for a while and Clarke will be targeted now and heavily! So another threat is key!

He is a direct winger to Clarkes tricky style, a good complimemt

agree alioski needs to keep playing left back

created the 3rd most chances in the league he has

gets a bit of stick but the guy is fit as a fiddle and doesnt do a bad job wherever he plays

It's ridiculous how fit Alioski is to be honest. When other players were showing signs of tiredness he was getting better.

I didn't actually know this, but turns out James is a Yorkshire lad as well. Came through at Hull.

yeah saw that on his wiki lubo.

gotta have a very good chance of getting him if we can get a deal sorted with swansea.

18months left on his deal need to start putting the pressure on to get him out of there

Runs his heart out week in week out Alioski.whatever he has for breakfast get all the lads on it.

If we sign the Real Madrid keeper , James and with maybe Brown playing a part too that would be a good window for us.

Never a bad thing to get players with pace and maybe with James and Clark running at the opposition with Pablo behind orchestrating we could be deadly.

Be very good signing this

As long as he is more efficient than Sacko, all the pace to burn but hideous on the ball 99% of the time.

posted on 15/1/19

Alioski played really well on Friday if we can get this lad linking up on the left it could give us a few extra goals.
W[ill Douglas get his place back when fit?

When Alioski moved to LB against Brentford in the 2nd half you could see it was his natural fit, he is much better with the game ahead of him.

Douglas - What a situation to have whereby you have 2 more than capable players for one position.

With those two signings we make a formidable squad, I tried to shoe horn the players into an 18 man matchday squad and cannot do it. A fully fit squad and I am leaving out Brown, Roberts and Harrison.
The sky guys who have been saying how thin the squad is need to take another look.

Looks good from the video. Roofe would love that service, low cross across goal.

Alioski is a different player at full back. When he's on the wing, he has less space and his lack of pace shows badly. At full back, he's running onto the ball without a defender closing him down immediately and can have time to get his feet together or cross.
