My beef Sherif is I think Jorginho has a clear role of improving our distribution at the back and hoping to encourage teams to press us so he can switch the play to midfield. I also think Sarri sees him as his eyes on the pittch and thus trusts him more than other players.
Therefore I find the obvious dim critiques about goals and assists or lack of playmaking passes kind of annoying.
Rather than respecting my view and holding a different one you just tried to encourage a pile on for me having a dissenting point of view to your own
That's the problem

If you want to see distribution...watch luiz...he manages it just fine...including playmaking balls, neither jorginho or Kovacic are stepping up at all currently in any capacity to improve us
Sarri needs to adapt....his current wants and needs are clearly not working and that is down to personnel and style of play

I still laugh/cringe at some social media and general forum comments the summer we were linked with Modric.
The general consensus was "not enough goals or assists, overrated"

Hmm I still don’t think they are comparable. Jorginho’s role is more like Busquets.
As brilliant as Modric is, or has been, I think a lack of decisiveness in the final third has been a fair criticism of his game, because he has the ability, and he’s played in a position that has allowed him the opportunity to influence in the final third.
Judging him on stats alone is silly, of course. But highlighting his weaknesses in this regard is also fair, in my opinion. People do both.

Luiz has hardly ever played the type of passes as a midfielder because he doesn't have the space he has at CB.

yep!! He cant run, looks like a red card waiting to happen in a tackle, has no assists at all whereas Cesc would have at lest 10 by now had he been allowed to play. People say cesc cant run but hes equal to Jorginho, cesc is a little better defensively, noone fears Jorginho on the pitch but knew what cesc brings to the table. We sold the wrong player again. I crap myself just a little whenever we try to play the ball out from the back even when every player is under pressure its downright amature. Kepe is either perfect at passing or a liability nothing in between. We need a pacy forward like Vardy to keep the back line further back on their goal. I would love to see vardy getting passes from Luiz. poetry in motion.Get it done.
