Ruddy
Bennett...Coady....Saiss
Jonny...Neves...Dendoncker...Vinagre
...........MGW
Traore.......Cav/Costa
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Possibly MGW for Neves and play all three forwards in 3-4-3
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That is probably how I would go.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tam, now you really have me confused. You say that the way you would probably go is with MGW and Dendoncker in midfield. How is playing Donck in midfield going to "free up Neves and Moutinho" if they are both on the bench?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was going by your team. Plus I wouldn't switch Donk and Saiss round as Donk has brought the best out of others in midfield. He therefore should be the main option there. Saiss and the rest of the back three need to get used to playing with each other, so another game of them together before West Ham is a good thing.
I therefore think we will gain less value from switching them than if we kept them in the same positions.
Also, MGW is a more attacking midfielder. Someone like Dendoncker playing alongside him doing the physical side of the game will allow him more freedom. So in the same way as Moutinho and Neves, he will be allowed more freedom.
Clarity restored?

I'd also play Iorfa to see how he works in a back three. Or give someone like Molberg a chance to impress.
Iorfa Is he still at the club?

Not gone yet.
So in an attempt to confuse you; I would allow the back three from the Leicester game to get used to playing each other by bringing in Iorfa to see how he does in a back three before shipping him off the Celtic.

Think I get your reasoning there Tam, you play Iorfa once to ensure he'll never play again thus creating more opportunities for the others
#simples
I can't see Iorfa ever playing for us again. If there was any doubt, I think Nuno would have at least had him on the bench for cup games. He is out of contract in the summer, so I se no reason to ever play him again.
Sorry Tamwolf, but your suggestion doesn't make an ounce of sense.
Think Tam's been on the wacky baccy. He's put up several convincing arguments all disagreeing with one another
Pretty sure Tam wasn't being serious Wolfie.
Iorfa is likely moving to Celtic this week i believe.

Apparently Pulis wants Traore back at Boro'
If he gives us our money back I would be happy with that.

Steve Bull?
Dendoncker is now making good progress in establishing himself in our midfield so if he plays I would certainly keep him there. We seem to go from a fast dynamic team to one that plods along going nowhere quickly when Saiss is in midfield.
Be good to see MGW play on Saturday. Been a bit disappointing in recent games and this might be a good game to get him back on track.
If we played Costa, Cavaleiro and Traore up front I’d be a bit worried about where the goals are going to come from. Wonder if he would be brave enough to give Benny Ashley Seal a game
