I'm sure it will be RDR2 i opt for, was kinda looking for someone to sell something else to me.

Red dead is awesome, game of the year without doubt imo.

There is just so much to get through, don't know how it would be if u are leaving it for a week cos u would just forget stuff. I have spent much much more time doing side quests and messing about than the actual story.

Far cry was good fun and wld be a bit better for intermittent playing I would think

Just finished Tomb Raider which was good.

RDR was a bit of a slog for me. Kept getting bored of following people around and turned it off.

none of the stories are related in any way bud so wont make any difference if you havent played any previous ones before Far Cry 4 was excellent so if you can get it on the cheap you might wanna go for that. Far Cry 5 a more polished version of it.

Agree with this - FC4 is excellent, but I’d say 5 is as good as the series gets.

Both are well worth playing and probably more instant fun than RDR2

‘Finished’ both back in the day but great shout

I've almost finished Spider-Man, 95% progress so far, just need to finish off last few main missions and do rest of research missions, also trying to see if I can get all the trophies.

Far cry 4 was meh. 3 was unreal though. Brought 5 but never played it.

100% agree with Chris regarding RDR2 apart from the free roaming, open world etc really didn't think much of it.

Far Cry 4 was awesome, not played any other Far Cry games though to be honest, I've been contemplating getting Fary Cry 5.

Far Cry 3's story and characters where better IMO but the actual gameplay and combat etc is better in 4. Not to say that 4's story is poor, far from it. FC3 just had an excellent "bad guy" character (no spoilers) and more engaging story.

Was 3 the one on the tropical island?

My best games this gen:

Bloodborne
God of War
Dark Souls 3
Spider-Man
Uncharted 4
The Last of Us (if you wanna count it)
FFXV (Probably only if you're a fan of the series)
Horizon
Divinity (either I or II)

I have RDR2 but I feel it needs a big time commitment, so I'm waiting to full exhaust DS3 first.

Kingdom Hearts III has just been released if you want something light-hearted and in late March, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice comes out

Oh, and the remake of Resident Evil 2 is meant to be pretty great

Ps4 for me has far better exclusives compared to Xbox One.
