What have we got to be positive about?
We have crap team but I really thought Emery would make us more solid but he hasn't. He has still tried to play the high press, pass from the back rubbish even though we don't have the players
The stats prove it. Been saying for a while all Emery has done is made Arsenal far less creative and far more open butbeing a lot more clinical than last season has papered over the cracks. Arsenal been nearly averaging a goal every 2 shots on target this season in the league.
Also even at OT you went 1-2 up with 1 shot on target and had like 4 shots to that point. You created more at 2-2 then you did in the period before that and brcause you had lots of ball possession Emery was a supposed genius. Man Utd could barely string passes together and still had tons of shots on goal that game.

He is incredibly boring
He is right though. I suppose the players Emery has are not good enough. Maybe Arsenal need a clear out. Bit like us since SAF left.
You’ve got to give emery more time and at least 3 transfer windows.
He’s show he can get teams playing well

We have been in decline as a club for the last 2-3 reasons. Player recruitment has been pathetic.
Teams like Spurs are going to united and beating them 3 nil whereas we are still getting whipped by them whether it's Moyes, Mourinho, LVG or Ole
Like why are you saying this pointless shiiiit? You say the reason we are shiiiiit is because of player recruitment over the last 3 years yet you are blaming Emery who hasn’t been part of that recruitment.
You are going on about Spurs winning at OT completely ignoring that they have the worst H2H record of the top 6 and that they just lost at home to United 2 weeks ago.
What point are you trying to make?
Don't you think Emery could have made us more solid? Mid table teams are more organised than us
The game swung twice with the two injuries. We all know the squad needs improving, but it can't all be done in one summer.
Lots of positives - Torreira is clearly top class. Guendouzi once again very good. Auba and Laca.
We had a lot of bad luck and United were clinical. If next season we have a Mustafi/Xhaka CB partnership then your moans have some meaning. But at the moment Emery is nursing through a squad that will be improved in the summer.
I think a lot of people overestimated Emery. He’s not actually that great a coach. I thought there would be more improvements than there has been, but at the same time there are clear issues in the squad that he’s not good enough to rectify and that most managers would struggle with.
Yes Emery has to work with what he has but why are we still playing out from the back? Why are we still playing such a high line with none of our DMs actually sitting back and protecting the back 4?
Torreira is a very good player but how many times have I seen him running back when we are on the counter. Ffs they have 3 on 2 for the second goal.
We tried to play our the back in our first two games against City and Chelsea and got badly exposed. If you don't have the personal then surely adapt
I reckon I’ve said more positive things about Arsenal than this Castor guy
I hope Arsenal get good again just fot Castor. He doesn’t need this much negativity in his life.
Nah, I think Emery has done well without working miracles. Our squad is probably overrated, if anything. Our best two players are basically identical, two very good but not world class poachers.
Future looks good, though, but Emery needs financial backing and fan support for the next 18 months.

I think Laca could be a lot more deadly if he had better players around him
Injuries were a major influence on tonight’s result, but there were also things Emery got badly wrong.
Starting Cech over Leno proved a mistake, and I’m not quite sure how many more opportunities Aubameyang needs to show how poor he is wide right before the manager also catches on, but hopefully not too many.
Ozil’s prolonged absence from the team appears to have severed even the vaguest notion of him still being on the same wavelength as his teammates.
Also thought Guendouzi offered very little when he came on. So much so, that it only highlighted how daft a decision it was not to bring on Monreal when Koscielny went off instead of the youngster.
Bad performance both on and off the pitch tonight then.
Manager needs to start doing much better, and soon, therwise our season will drain away very quickly now.
I don’t think they are identical at all. Auba is pretty average when has the ball but amazing off it. Lacazette has a quality all round game, but doesn’t have that poacher’s instinct off it. Two of the best strikers in England. Just the rest of the team is pretty shiiiiit.
They're quite similar, rather than identical. But the defense and midfield are pretty bad. They need a whole new back line, GK (Neither are of them are better than the other), midfield and wide players.
Ozil doesn't suit Unai Emery's style so best to sell and get him off the wage bill. There are a lot of players that nerd going. You got about 3 players, Torriera, PEA and Lacazette who you can say are good enough. You have some potential with Guendouzi and Holding. But I don't see anyone else on a level that can improve.
You may even need a change of tactics or formation, depending on how you guys want to move forward.
Have to say I haven't noticed any improvement under Emery and I think he banked some chips with that unbeaten run.
Not to say you should have kept Wenger though, he set this decline in motion and it will take another season at least to start climbing out of it.
Auba should only play centrally if he plays. His passing and link up play is very very poor and against packed defences I don't see where he plays.
I really like Lacazette but, as long as I knew we’d be getting top dollar for him, I would actually advocate selling him next summer and investing the proceeds into the midfield and/or defence.
