the players on the pitch have to take the blame today.

missed a penalty, a sitter, gave away an absurd penalty and only turned up for one half.

`A Carpenter is only as good as his tools` as they say, and Levy has not given Poch enough quality tools to sustain a challenge on four fronts.

Hence why Poch facked off the FA Cup today in favour of protecting players for a more important league game.

surely Poch gives some instructions to these players when he sends them out, notice he didnt get off his arriss all afternoon, penalty takers, corner and free kicks Poch has f"""cked right up for me

it works both ways... poch has fallen short pretty much every single crunch game. last years semi final v Man U, Mourinho done an absolute job on poch. Chelsea the semi final in the year before.. same thing....

we got some of the best players in the league, dare I say the world in our squad, but we are not delivering trophies.

I have said this 100 times. the problem with spurs is not in the feet, its all in the head. absolute lack of bottle for that penalty situation today. both dier and moura should have been arguing over who is taking that spot kick to rectify the other night. but it was left to trippier, who is currently an absolute joke, unfortunately.

You lot have no heart.

Bonuses are probably higher for making top 4 than winning a domestic cup. How are Poch & the players going to make ends meet on basic wages alone?

posted on 27/1/19

Poch is to blame, where in his head did he think the team he put out today could go away to palace and beat them.
Their was 5 players on the bench that should of started along with Toby and Eriksen that’s 7, he clearly sacked off the fa cup.

Have to agree with a lot of this.

Give our XI to Mou or Ancelotti and would we still be trophyless?

Poch for me for his team selections. Trippier for being next to useless. Daniel Levy is delivering us a lovely new stadium, so cannot fault him. Not Levy`s fault, Poch cannot pick cup teams.

100 per cent correct. If Poch is not going to pick his best team available, then he has to shoulder 100 per cent blame.

Blame as follows:
1. Levy - total lack of investment in the first team. Only a complete idiot ( which I guess Levy must be ) would not have seen this coming. We have around 14 players of the quality required to compete at the top of the PL and in Europe. Did levy really think we could get through at least 50 games a season with just 14 players. City have what, 22 players at this level at least. The sorry truth here is Levy has saved some money in the transfer window, but could loose a £40/50 million Champions League pot in doing so. Dembele is a typical example, Woopee, we got 11m for him, but how much would we have needed him for the rest of this season, which is falling apart. Just loose the 11m ffs and hold our season together. Free at end of it..

2. Poch. Again poor team selection with enough good players available. Also there is something seriously wrong with this team's first half set up/performance. This is about the fourth game in a row where we did not turn up until the 46th minute. Down to the Manager. Also was it just me or did he look totally uninterested today. Sat in his seat all through.

3 Players:
Trippier - has got to go. A total liability.
Walker-Peters - not ready
Skipp - not ready.
N'Koudu- not good enough
Wanyama- enough said.
Llorente - not good enough
Sanchez- can make too many mistakes.
That is just the ones I can be bothered to mention.
Overall we are probably at our lowest point in about 5 years, and today reminded me of the bad old days of the 90's.

I think you need to ad Davies to that list, ok he did not play today but he is still just not good enough.

Again agreed.
TBH our biggest worry should be that what quality players we do have ( Kane, Deli, Erikson etc) will now be thinking "do I jump from this ship before it sinks"

I do not think Pochettino is that stupid.
I think Pochettino is in some disagreement with Levy over the January transfer window and nothing being done ... and today he was making a point.
Watch this space, I say!
Life is going to get interesting at Tottenham Hotspur

Fair enough but they are not exactly putting untried youth players in are they and they are facing a lower division side. Plus one of their changes was a new signing

It’s because they have a bigger and stronger squad than us but nevertheless they have rested lots too.
