Hopefully Spurs sign prolific striker Andy Carroll.

Because they aren't building new stadiums.
You Spurs fans will soon learn how building a new stadium facks up your transfer spending.
A new stadium that has overan and gone way over budget too no doubt.

We already have.
Is any PL club confirmed their new signings today so far?
Supposedly Pochettino vetoed loans for Tielemans and Malcom
I refer to my post yesterday about he takes pickiness over new players to a whole new level. Saw a good tweet too, something like "He talks a big game about how if he'd had Dembele at 20/21 he'd have become one of the world's best, but when presented with similar raw talent in Tielemans he turns it down"

We’ve got a net spend of about £4m for the last decade.
You know how long we’ve been building this stadium? 10 years so we are well aware thanks

The signs are there, but Pochettino still has pleeeeeeeenty of credit in the bank. He just needs to get over himself a bit when it comes to new players, I feel. A bit of short-termism once in a while is no bad thing, and it doesn't affect the long-term project.

Difference is he's better than Wenger was when Wenger was simply finishing top 4.

Tielemans was rated one of the biggest flops in Ligue 1 last season, and Malcom has been cack for Barça so far.
You'd have to imagine Spurs keep tabs on a huge number of players and are more up to date on their progress than any of us. They're not going to take players who are doing badly just for the sake of it.
Tielemans is only known because he's most peoples first purchase on FIFA.
In the real world, he's not progressed much (if at all) since the hype 2 years ago... In fact, he's probably regressed.
If he can't handle it in Ligue 1, and is now being offered out on loan to a mid table PL club, is he the type of player that we really need?!
Tielemans is 2nd top scorer in a struggling team this season and has the sort of potential you'd expect Pochettino would want to work with, given the lack of players in midfield at the moment.
Malcom, again, clearly has potential. He plays in Messi's position which is why he barely plays.
Just counterpoints.
