One of the greatest players to grace the premier league but not up to it i'm afraid.
Lampard and Terry would tear it apart!

I agree that everyone is at fault
The board with their terrible appointments and bizarre transfer targets. 1 example, Falcao? I mean what in the actual F was that all about..
Sarri for his inability to change and adapt, it's like he's playing the same game of chess for the 30th time, even my Dog knows what he's going to do and he's blind and deaf.
The players for their complete inconsistent approach and performances. Even Hazard, did you know he's NEVER scored more than 20 goals in a season in all competitions?! And people were comparing him to Messi and Ronaldo! Unbelievable if you ask me..
But you're right, everyone is to blame.
Ps. Loftus Cheek is NOT the answer, you're worried about us going backwards as a club? LOFTUS CHEEK IS BACKWARDS!!! Him and Christensen are spoken so highly and I don't understand because they've achieved the same amount as Spurs!? You're sounding like spurs fans sticking up for those average Joe's...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry Van Ban, think you're talking complete bollox about RLC.
Out of Kova, Barkley and him, he's the only one that shows any attacking intent by picking the ball up and driving forward!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry Brummie but you're right and he does show attacking intent but he's just not too quality, I don't think he's the worst in the world but I've seen him so many times live and on the tv and I just haven't seen him improve at all and just don't think he's good enough
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've seen plenty of him too Van Ban, mainly from his academy days. Don't forget, despite his age, he's still way behind the curve experience wise due to the clubs inability to integrate young players and his loan at Palace was dogged by injury.
He's still far and away the best option out of him, Barkley and Kova. I actually rate him as a decent player in his own right as well.
You can always find some player to improve on another but until the next coming of Alan Hudson turns up he'll do for me!
We got an absolute tonking by Man City today.

Worst result under Roman Abramovich's ownership since 2003 for Chelsea.
Pass the baton to Zola
-------------------------------------------------------
This would be history repeating itself.
We appoint Zola as interim around late Feb/early March - he'll win the FA/EL and earn a one/two year contract extension.
He'll get fired at the first conceivable opportunity (cos Roman didn't want him in the first place), we'll bring in Mourinho as interim, he'll get booed out of stadium every game which'll cause him to go on a tirade around March slamming Chelsea fans/claiming his 'interim' title is a joke and that he'll leave at the end of the season, we win a cup or two before he leaves. Ancelotti returns the following season.
What's scary is we're such a mess all of that is actually possible

It won't start until Roman decides on the bridge in my opinion. Until he commits there we are in some sort of limbo, at best limp mode.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficult to gauge his general interest level in the club at present....obviously he has visa issues and so on...but he either needs to re-engage or sell up if it's not for him any more
Also...definition of insanity
Continuing to do something the same way with the same kit and methods. ..and then expecting a different result
I'll leave that there.

Appalling display from top (Sarri) down
Sarri says he never hears from Abramovich.
I'd say this needs to change...one way or the other..which also highlights my two previous posts
Chelsea are not run like a football club, they are a billionaires plaything.
If Roman is still interested in staying then it will be sack Sarri and hire some new guy, probably win a trophy short term then sack him when it goes wrong not long after. Rinse and repeat.
If he isn't interested anymore then he needs to sell up, then things may change and you may be run more like an actual football club.
But hey, at least in between the rubbish you get to see your team win trophies

Exactly
Our fans need to stop whining, and enjoy seeing the likes of Hazard with the odd trophy thrown in
Really had to laugh recently over the claim on this board that if Hazard moves to RM some of you happily to let him go.
It's getting worse for you if he moves because they arent players like him available in the market.
I get that it's Sarri's first season and he's still installing his philosophy, but surely nobody can say he hasn't got a great squad of players to pick from?
Hazard is one of the best in the world, Higuain one of the best CF's in Europe, an abundance of good options in midfield, great defenders like Azpi and Rudiger, a £70m keeper etc etc. The squad is very good.

Sensible post
Yeah I think Chelsea are in catch 22 here. Sarri was the wrong appointment to give for a long term role and change of ethos at the club. He is pretty average and not a great manager. Not utilising Kante is criminal!
Anyway If Chelsea sack him then its 'same old Chelsea sacking managers constantly and not giving them a chance' etc.
Or stick with a useless manager.
Who’s to blame ? Well I’d say everyone, Sarri the players and the board. Next question is what direction does the board wants the club to follow? Stay faithful to Sarri and his philosophy or go back to what we already know which brought us a reasonable success ?
Sarri has made a lot of mistakes, and that’s understandable, considering he’s only 6 months to this job and still adapting to this league.
Personally, as long as he’s learning from his mistakes, shows that he can be flexible, not rigid in his way, rotate when required and most importantly trust some of our bright prospect with game time.
