It would be a breath of fresh air to see this team.
I’d nearly forgive anything this season, in my opinion it’s a free hit. I’d like Sarri to be a bit more flexible with the system but if we show some continuity with management over the next 3 years I’d be delighted and feel it will greatly benefit us in the long run.
the one thing for me that would be unforgivable would be to lose CHO in the summer due to not being given game time over Pedro/William when it’s clear we need energy and width on the pitcch and watch him tear it up in Germany.

Jorginho has to go, he's being EASILY marked out of games, we're playing with 10 men every game. Sarriball simply doenst work with these players ok, accept it, we've played game after game after bleeding game. He's 100% dropped.
Plus Luiz is the last leader in this squad, disgustingly treated by alot of our fans and he's one of the most creative players on the pitch. His hearts in the right place but is always the victim. People need to take a look at themselves.
Bottom line is this group of players are not a good team and good teams get top 4 and win cups etc. We need something to get us to the end of the season and then we need to finally sort out the entire bleeding squad.

I'd actually try Willian in next to Kante (I know he's not over popular and it's out of his normal) then he can get forward from midfield and be covered by the wing backs if he goes he's just a better footballer than kov

No backlash off me, i just want to see him in midfield too see if he can play there as surely he can't be any worse than Barkley and Kovacic in that position.
Our record at Stamford Bridge is atrocious. Even when you are not playing well, I can't see this being an easy game at all for Utd. And if Martial and Lingard are out, we will struggle.
Agree we've got to get rid of the "Morata mentality",well put Ronny.
The mid three of Jorghi,Kova and Barkley are not up to it either.

How many goals and assists have those 3 got together this season?
Am I right in thinking Jorginho STILL hasn't had an assist in over 2000 passes? Must be almost 2500 now surely!
I know Kovacic hasn't scored as I go almost every week and I've not seen him score!
Barkley scored a few so between Jorginho and Kovacic they must have next to nothing
No chance of Sarri switching to the 5 at the back team you've put up. He's made that perfectly clear in his press conferences.
Maybe tweaking it to a 4-2-3-1 could be more plausible but knowing Sarri he's not changing much and Jorginho will start every game except the EL for us no matter how bad he plays.
Would like to see the midfield and attack line up like this:

But chances of it happening are very slim.

Agreed and this is why he will get sacked. He clearly isn't changing anything and he'll persist with what he has been doing and keep complaining about the players and then he'll go. I feel it's inevitable at the moment unless he changes things up a bit
He'll keep with what he's been doing in the Europa & probably get away with it given the perceived level of opponent
We'll get what we deserve on Monday though...depending on what he does there
I've long proposed the idea of Willian in a midfield 3 (or even 2) - but the objection I have heard is that he is too lightweight and too easily pushed off the ball. The fact that no manager has ever tried him in that central area suggests that may be true. But I do believe he has all the attributes to be great there - incredible stamina to get up and back and very good on the ball technically. Plus he has an eye for goal too, which we don't currently have from midfield. Even if he's terrible he'd be better than Barkley!
