My point exactly. Great win Tonight which should see them through to the last 8. If they get Barca and get knocked out next round it's just another win, nothing more.

A side who spends nothing at a ground they dislike bartering the best team in Germany isn’t ‘nothing’

Ole has won more than poch as a manager.
I’m not doubting at all poch is a top manager. I’m doubting what happens when the pressure really notched up, and so far he’s failed.
Ole, is relatively untested at this pressure level, so we don’t know how he will respond..
He knows the club and has strung an impressive turnaround minus a blip against a great team last night.
Ole will learn. And let’s not forget, not one of the players he used are purchased by him.

Potch is an easy option as he will be desperate to leave Spurs this summer when they win feck all again. And what with the United job available...
I don't want them to win nothing. Would love them to win the title.

I'm sure you could go through history and find lots of very good teams going out in cups to much lesser teams.
Great win for Spurs tonight but Bayern must have seriously regressed if they are behind that lot in the league
Luis Enrique won treble in first season at Barcelona. A couple of seasons later PSG schooled them 4-0 but Barcelona beat them 6-1 through sheer number of attacks all game.
Poch has many merits. If he were to be hired, it would mean that Ole didn't do a good enough job as an interim. But that doesn't mean he'll be a success. Success at Spurs isn't the same at United.
Ole's limitations, that the Op mentioned, are based on the squad he has. The players Op has championed failed. They do not suit the manager nor were they signed by him. They need to be moved on. To make such conclusions on the base of one result, one were the coach lost two attacking threats in one game, is absurd.
Klopp's first season at Liverpool would be something we could compare Ole's time so far. A change of style (or a reversion of it, depending on your view), squad full of previous manager(s) players with certain players needing to be replaced as they don't suit the style being played. Even if those players are favoured by some.
Also, this thing about Spurs and Wembley. They have played a lot of games there. It's as good as their "home" ground. They are more used to playing there than any other side. From a playing perspective, there is no disadvantage when they play home games.

You can. I actually don't mind Spurs either and hope you win the title. Still could happen.
Ole has shown he can handle this job. Poch isn't a Utd man. He could flop like LVG n Jose did. I think we need to go back to our roots for a bit. It's becoming clearer by the day. Barca in a similar way like to appoint from within.
Poch is a fantastic manager but we'd be crazy to dismiss Ole for losing to PSG. They are a formidable team.
I'm happy for Ole to be given a go. Fans love him and players seem to have really backed him. Now it's time the club do the same for me.
Imagine if we got Poch and spurs went for Ole
I doubt Ole would go to them, after all it's only Spurs.

Even though I believe Poch would do a much better job for you in the long run than either of those 2 managers, I think you should give Ole the benefit of the doubt and stick with him. A loss to PSG shouldn't undo the good job he's done so far.
Obviously wouldn't want Poch leaving anyway, and think he will stay.

I said I was slightly leaning towards Ole and also mentioned my reservations over Ole too from a tactical level. Poch and his tactics have schooled the best team in Germany. And without two of his best players
I have no issue with anyone wanting Ole. But hand on heart, surely most people realise Poch is the better manager
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How come Ole beat him at Wembley then?

Thanks
Even though I believe Poch would do a much better job for you in the long run than either of those 2 managers, I think you should give Ole the benefit of the doubt and stick with him. A loss to PSG shouldn't undo the good job he's done so far.
Obviously wouldn't want Poch leaving anyway, and think he will stay.

The real heir apparent to SAF.

Did you not say the same about Jose?

You slightly favoured Ole 2 hrs ago.

How come Ole beat him at Wembley then?
