I think even most bin dippers admitted at the time that they never believed they were seriously going to win the PL that year. Slippy or not.

We admit you have more of a chance this year. But even that's not going to happen. Lets face it.

Well it did actually. We were still banned from travelling when we went to Rotterdam for the Barca final. But we still did.

It affected United every season of the ban if I remember correctly, as we would have qualified for the UEFA Cup or Cup winners Cup during the banned years.
