We can't play CL footy at the new stadium now. All the remaining games have to be played at Wembley.
We had to play Dortmund at our new ground in order to play all the knock-outs at WHL.

It is.
Uefa would only only let us play at WHL in the knock-outs if we played every game there. Now we've played at Wembley, the remaining games will have to be played there.
it's only 1 game anyway (sf home leg).

This is a quote from the Evening Standard:-
Uefa are open to Spurs moving back to N17 for the last eight but the first legs are scheduled to be played on April 9-10 and they are unlikely to be allowed to open the ground with such a high-profile fixture on a week night.
That means that unless they can open the stadium against Brighton, they would most likely have to play a ‘home’ first leg at Wembley.
Spurs should be able to play a second leg at their new stadium, with the games due to take place on April 16-17, a few days after Huddersfield’s visit.
so basically we need millwall to beat brighton ?

The actual rule is that, in principle, all games should be played at one and the same stadium throughout the competition.
However, UEFA have the ultimate say and can agree exceptions.....so it is either the case that (1) we had to play all at Wembley regardless of the readiness new WHL or (2) UEFA review the position to allow ko games at different stadia.
If you think about it, changing in teh group stages could be seen as giving someone an advantage/disadvantage. In the ko games, it doesnt really matter if we played Dortmund at Wembley and then the next opponent (fingers crossed) at new WHL. No one is prejudiced by this change of venue.
There's never been a clear statement about where we are allowed to play UCL ko games, so to state it one way or the other is just speculation at this stage.
imagine a CL semi final at new WHL
