Words can't express how much sympathy I have for Sarri after that. Tactically he got that absolutely spot on and his subs were excellent - you could feel the stadium turning in our favor in the second half and he introduced CHO at just the right time to keep that momentum in the crowd going.
The Kepa thing would bother me if I wasn't 100% sure Sarri's getting sacked either tomorrow or after Spurs, that incident just all but confirmed it too me. Which is fine, he's under too much pressure now, we were booing our players in the first half whenever we passed backwards for god sake lol - the entire purpose of why we brought him in (i.e. a style of football) has been outright rejected by our players and our fans. Keeping him on just wastes everyone's time, especially Sarri's who frankly doesn't need this.
This compromise of styles he showed yesterday, provides a perfect platform for our players to adapt to his football at their own pace. Getting the players to press the opposition back line, take risks on the ball and look to attack the space in behind, rather than always playing to feet, is expecting too much too soon.

Completely agree.
The game we played yesterday, against City in the league, Spurs (H) in the semis, and the second half against Liverpool (H) this season is as good as we're gunna get to reaching a compromise between the styles.
We still attempt pressing bait from the back (with Luiz given license to go direct) but the transition between midfield to attack is much faster, encouraging players to attacking spaces rather than compress the opposition - and if the counter stalls then we begin to squeeze the pitch.
It's bypasses the lack of midfield movement where usually SarriBall falls apart for us. It's the way forward this season, the way Sarri keeps his job.
Post match discussion..
