It' been in midfield and defence where we were being overrun. But towards the last 10 minutes of the first half, we gained more composure in the midfield and played a little better.

Yeah he was injured in the first leg but he’s on the bench tonight

Hopefully we can come out second half a bit more relaxed. Everyone looked so panicked on the ball. We need to pass much better.

Rashford had a few good games as a number 9 and people got carried away.

Lukaku is still by far our best and most reliable finisher, plus you can't deny the guy has a lot of self belief even when off form
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rashford definitely looks worse when there's no Martial, Lingard, Pogba or Mata. He feeds off of clever passes and clever movement, which we haven't got at the moment.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll love to see how Lukaku does at right flank or the left. Rashford is the best forward on this team and he leading the line saw some of the best football we've seen in 6 years. Lukaku has gotten his goals but we can't see the same style of play we want with him leading our line unless he improves massively.

I love Bailly but he’s in serious risk of getting sold. I thought he’ll be our Vidic but it’s Lindelof that’s improved ten fold and he’s gone backwards

At least the problematic Bailly is off. Giving us too many headaches to cope with.

Dalot has been a good addition.

Young left him badly exposed 2 on 1 for the first 30 mins.

Not excusing his mistake for the goal mind.

Yeah he was out of position too, we need to go City style this summer on fullbacks

Put two goals Lukaku on the left??? Right now, he is the best forward we have as he is bang in form.

Lukaku scuffing the second goal into the floor under no pressure is him all over

Bailly and Young were both shocking first half of the first half. No support for each other, poor postioning, not switched on

Disagree. There's no guarantee the ref gives it and then no guarantee we score.

I have some sympathy for Bailly as the system has been quite confusing, especially when PSG switch it quickly out to their left. Though that doesn’t excuse the lack of awareness for the goal.

Would it have been a red anyway if a genuine attempt at the ball?

Would it have definitely been a red though?

Thought they stopped it being automatically a sending off, double punishment and all that?

____________

I thought the last man red card plus pen rule was removed a few seasons ago?

posted on 6/3/19

Bailly hasn't played much since his red card. It's pretty obvious that he doesn't have the same rapport that Lindelof and Smalling have.
