Terribly mismanaged by Sarri.
Not only with actions but with pathetic, deceitful, patronising remarks, from the beginning.
Any manager worth their salt knowing what's at stake, would be including Hudson-Odoi in starting lineups/matchday squads untilthe end of the season.
Hudson-Odoi''s ability to just be dynamic & direct on the ball can truly be destructive on opponents defensive structure and defenders, why wouldn't want that in a team that is struggling in attack?
The ability to put fear and commit defenders is key.
In the final against City Pep immediately realised that Hudson-Odoi is a big problem, proceeded to instruct Sane and Zinchencko to double up on him (instead of being isolated with the latter).
That's the threat and presence that Hudson-Odoi poses.

Same applies to Ampadu gone from having the absolute belief, trust and made to feel welcome/wanted (at 17) under Conte to nothing and ostracised under Sarri.
Reduced to playing reserve football which he is levels above.
Natural progression should have been starts in Europa, cup matches and some part in PL matchday squad this season.
He's instead had to suffer the ignominy and pain of Sarri prioritising Cahill (who the manager openly admitted didn't serve a stylistic purpose and has no future at the club) over him.
The manager has now banished Cahill, when that could have been done much sooner and Ampadu wouldn't have lost valuable development gametime.
Lack of competence and foresight in the lineups that he selects is alarming.
Generational talents being wasted, when chances have more than presented itself to play them.
This is the reason why Sarri has not completely won me over yet
It's so frustrating as us fans want these youngsters to come through. We have a stigma over this club for not playing youngsters and Sarri seems to be doing nothing about it
Even though the others playing In his position ( apart from.Hazard) are very inconsistent
Rooney and Owen were playing every week at this stage

So had Sarri played youngsters you would have been completely won over?
That's a worry.
Ampadu making seven appearances under Conte = absolute belief and trust
CHO making 16 appearances under Sarri = terrible mismanagement
Ampadu making seven appearances under Conte = absolute belief and trust
CHO making 16 appearances under Sarri = terrible mismanagement
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Only if it was that simple...those seven appearances were in a settled well-performing team. So it speaks volumes of what the manager things of you when as a youngster breaking through your manager still finds a way to give you game time in those circumstances.
Contrast that to CHO's situation where there have been numerous times when the team has been lacking in what his core ability is and we have to beg the manager to get him onto the field and this goes on even when a team like Bayern who is keen to replace generational talents in Robben and Ribery have made it no secret their admiration.
Look at what happened with Pogba when Fergie called Scholes out of retirement when united needed a creative midfielder...he rightfully left and United ended up paying a world record fee just to have him back.
Sometimes all that's needed is a little bit of foresight and sadly Sarri looks lacking in that department.
We were very far from a settled well performing team and there were potential openings in the back three (especially after Christensen lost the plot) and our midfield with everyone bar Kante playing crap.
Furthermore Kuki the post was made more in jest because mf has an agenda.
He couldn't even bring himself to enjoy us beating Spurs to make the cup final and while we were all celebrating he spent the whole night moaning.
Well this article needs to be deleted.CHO should be starting most matches for Chelsea in the league & in Europa League but we keep on playing him as a substitute in last 10-20 minutes of matches. This is ridiculous selection combined with his ridiculous comments about him before many matches when there has been any kind of noise pressurising him to play CHO.Yesterdat,CHO & RLC should have started the match but he played none despite the last 14 minutes long cameo by CHO and another goal by him in Europe. Also, any suggestion of mine about signing players or my hopes to see CHO will get criticised by most fans on ja606 Chelsea board but they themselves will continue discussing the same when I am not commenting on Chelsea 606 articles.

Everyone on here wants to see CHO playing Zah...what are you wittering on about - it's only Sarri that refuses to play him more
The CHO theorizing is getting boring now. Yes Sarri should be using him more than he has purely based off the number of games and options in his position, but until Sarri does using him more we don't know how good he actually is so what's the point discussing it?
This blind belief some fans have that CHO is football's next big star is getting cringey. Every fan of every club believes their club has that one guy who'll break through and become a world beater, they just don't vocalize it to the lengths we do... e.g. Arsenal have Reiss Nelson who looks just as good as CHO on current evidence, not heard one Arsenal fan proclaim him Messi 2.0 yet.
D D A why not give him(CHO) more chances to succeed in matches like teams such as Fulham,Bate Borisov,Nottingham Forrest,Huddersfield,Southampton, etc in Premier League,FA Cup and UEFA Europa League?
HHHBF...you can only speak for yourself and with all due respect if you find it boring, ignore and don't comment on the subject. You don't know how good he is, that's fine.
I can only speak myself and from what I've seen there is no doubt in my mind that Hudson-Odoi shouldn't be making as big an impact as Sancho & Vinicius, stems from standout performances at academy level (including teetering between being on-par & outperforming a certain Sancho) and now at senior level with the limited opportunities that he's had...starting with pre-season when he tore Bellerin a new one and constantly making right decisions with passes & crosses at that age, the pinpoint cross assists for Morata in the FA CUP, the dynamism, dribbles and directness with pace to commit, effortlessly beat and put fear in the mind of an opposing player (which has been nonexistent from underperforming Willian & Pedro but they get unlimited chances).
That's why I'm personally enthused (I suspect the same for other avid watchers of youth, that have seen him from academy up until now).
Which is most certainly not a "blind belief", which you labelled it as.
Hudson-Odoi has delivered every time he has been selected (number speak for themselves), can the same been said for Pedro & Willian throughout the season?
Absolutely no reason shouldn't be a constant in the side, just for his youthful exuberance if anything in an ageing (struggling) forward line. Forward line which often has an combined age of 90+. Needs freshening up.
Most top teams across Europe have gone in that direction of having at least one regular/constant under 25 (or just generally have balanced aged) in their lineup and benefited from it.
CHO is being ignored by Sarri when he should've been fitted in the side gradually from the start of the season and given more regular game time as the season progressed. By now he should be on similar starts to the other wide men as we phase the youngster in and the old guard out. In 2 years time where will CHO be and where will Willian,Pedro be? This is going to be history repeating itself at Chelsea and the whole KDB situation.

Where I'm never going to agree with you, and others who think similarly, is using youth level as a reliable gauge to determine a players future at pro-level. It gives you a demonstration of a young players technical skill, tells you absolutely nothing about their mental strength which sets apart the OK/good players from the great players. So far CHO looks like a good young player, very skillful with a direct style that's always handy, I've always said he should be playing more given the options with have, but all this guaranteed future of Chelsea talk is going WAY over the top. He might be, he equally might not be, at this stage of his development getting bit part roles in non pressurizing situations it's a lottery whether he becomes the player he looks like he can be.
I will stop commenting on CHO related articles until he gets more game time
