It's not really fair to criticise City for this.
There are certainly things they can be criticised for, but surely the paramount thing here is whether or not the victims are helped by the club's actions.
Who knows whether they are motivated by publicity or fiscal prudence or just wanting to o do the right thing, but if it's good for the victims, then it's good on them in my book.
As for Celtic, I'd applaud any effort on out part to help the victims who suffered. I do wish they would do more than they have so far. At some point they may be forced to and it would be far better to embrace matters voluntarily in an active manner.
The City example is a good one imo. We should be looking what we can do too.

Surprised at you.
City are basically Arab Tories. You know what that makes them.
I applaud their actions but they would not be doing it if they were in the same financial position that were in.
I wouldn't give them any credit whatsoever.
Pic.. I take your point
<I wouldn't give them any credit whatsoever. >
It's fvking insulting.
This Mansoor fella's crocodile tears are stomach churning.
He's faking apology and empathy for lads having their childhoods
taken from them in the UK decades before many JA'ers were born.
But he's happy to sanction executions in his own country
in 2019 based on alleged sexual orientation.
His country also locks up many who would classed as children in the UK.
Amnesty reckons many of these children are brutalised & raped.
Today.
In 2019.
As I said Celtic must do what Celtic must do.
I resent any contextualisation with this trillionaire rsole.
What I want to see Celtic do.
