I'm no expert on the horse racing game but why can they not fix the leg and retire the horse? Seems a bit brutal to me?
I've got a right cheek for betting on it but I honestly canny watch the races, sickens me when there's a fall and it does seem a bit of a brutal sport in a way. Just follow the live text on twitter.

It was a catastrophic leg break, for the size of the horse etc, it's impossible for them to fix the break.
Some small fractures can be fixed but ones like that where the whole bottom 3rd of the leg is basically hanging off means there's only one outcome.
Horrendous.
I love the horse racing but it's got massive downside in more ways than one.
There's people saying it shouldn't have raced after the shoe thing but that can happen and it actually breaks it's leg after it hits the hurdle then lands awkwardly.
Got to feel for the jockey as well.

It's a lot stricter now for horses to run, they're rigorously checked on the morning of the race and then prior to going out but you can't do anything about that.
It was like Larsson in Lyon, only 10x worse.

Henderson just needs one more win today and that seals the trainers trophy for him i think?

As if i haven't witnessed something bad enough the day, mate just sent me the full 6 minute clip of that kant in New Zealand, had to turn it off after 2 minutes, absolutely brutal.
