If United, Arsenal and Chelsea all get past their respective quarter finals the dynamic of the race could change.
All of a sudden the top 4 race becomes a top 3 one as the only team certain of CL football with a 4th place finish would be United.
Spurs will finish 3rd.
With a bit to spare.
Oh scrap that forgot Spurs are still in
So if they go through aswell it makes the race properly interesting and turns it into a top three race all round.

Then that's your problem .
The only way it becomes a top 3 race is if the 2 teams outside top 4 both win their European competitions. Extremely unlikely scenario.

Yeah but if all four get to the semi the thought of it happening will be factor to the teams and change the dynamic a bit.
United and Chelsea to finish outside top 4 and win both European competitions is 125/1

Your putting all these unlikely factors in place.
If none of your unlikely predictions comes through, what is your top 4?
If Arsenal and Chelsea finish 5th and 6th in whatever order then the Europa Cup final could be a cl play off. That would be fun and is a great example of why UEFA were right to give to give the competition winners a cl place.
I personally think it'll be Arsenal and Man U to take the 2 top 4 spots left. With CFC winning the EL.
I still don’t think the team who finished 3rd in the CL group stages should drop into the EL.
They had their chance, why should they get a second bite of the cherry?
I’m not just saying this because we drew Atletico last year or Napoli this year, I just think it’s not entirely fair.
Although that being said, I am convinced we would have won the bloody thing last year had Atlético not dropped down into it

Yea that system is a joke but for viewership reasons they need the bigger teams to drop down. It will never change unfortunately. Wouldn’t be surprised if teams who finish bottom of their groups are eventually rewarded with failure too
Hard to know how Spurs will perform in their new stadium, didn't Arsenal struggle at the Emirates to begin with, as did West Ham.
Could be quite a big risk to move grounds right now even if financially they probably have to.
Wouldn’t say we struggled. We lost one game at home all season and the following season lost zero at home in all competitions
Might take those odds on us. Drop Alonso and I’d have us as having a great chance. Battered Everton in first half yesterday, just need to start taking our chances
Spurs fans are desperate for the move too. They’ll create big intimidating atmospheres for the reason of the season. Won’t be surprised if they batter City in the CL like Liverpool did to them last season

I would consider us as massive outsiders. Why? We won't win at Wolves or Everton and are highly unlikely to beat City. Would be very hard to make top 4 with that many dropped points. Particularly with Arsenal's kind run in
It's not Atletico, it's Valencia, and they're bang average. So bad that they barely beat Jose's United
I think we should be okay for top 4 if we stop playing like caaants
We have pool and city away which are very tough and an away game v Bournemouth. Other than that we have Brighton, Palace, w Ham, Everton and Huddersfield at home.
Really should be looking at 18 points from our remaining games if we can pull our finger out.

I agree. Think you would have to deliver freakishly bad performances not to finish 4th at very worst

not really, they are in the same boat as the rest of us now. NO game is a banker at this stage in the PL, they have proved that with their last 4 games.
Nobody would have called their last 4 games bankers though because they were all tough on paper. Their remaining fixtures you would have to see them winning apart from the 2 obvious ones unless they were to put in freakishly bad performances
