Is he being serious, or is he telling Jim Rattigan to go away ?
Let's have a whip round between ourselves and have a go - how hard can it be Harle!
We did it once before Brum. !
Should be able to get to 2.5 bill by lunchtime easy
On a serious note if Roman is going to sell then hopefully it happens soon. The club needs a huge shake up in how it operates and I don't see the required changes happening under Roman. As great as he's been for us.
Does Roman also intend to write off more of his "personal" loans to the club as part of the deal?
After all, what's the odd billion quid between friends?
Is this confirmation he is seeking to rid himself of Chelsea?
Superb, it's what I was inferring,we don't know what 's happening with Roman,as regards his personal situation concerning blocked visas and what else!. As you say ,we have a lot to thank Roman for and I for one hope he continues with us,but, a shake up is certainly needed.
Roman has invested approx £1.5b of his own money into the club. The successful years on and off the pitch, winning and challenging major trophies, which put Chelsea amongst the elite clubs in Europe. CFC brand has attracted some lucrative deals from some powerful sponsors in the world sport. Roman is correct to demand some return on his investment.
We have been truly blessed to have him as an owner. I hope he stays at the club for a foreseeable future.
I said six months ago he might be loooking to sell as it seems he'd lost interest, this is opicking up momentum now.
Been brilliant for us, and I think it's made him too, yeah he was already filthy rich, but hardly anyone knew who he was
I have to say i'm not actually familiar with this potential new owner if i'm honest

So the question remains, is Roman thinking of selling or even interested in selling?,their seem to be rumblings around the place, and this other guy, Jim someone or other ,certainly seems interested according to the media ,for what it's worth !.
we are still better off with Roman, IMO.

what makes you say that....?
He seems to have lost interest, & the other guy is worth nearly twice as much

From a personal perspective, I still feel a great deal of loyalty to Roman. He's given me memories I never thought in my wildest dreams, during the dark days of the 70s and 80s, that I would experience!
Same here Brum,perhaps we should make a petition....Give Roman a Visa .

Roman has proven time and again his willingness to pump large sums of his own money to keep Chelsea competitive. He's even gone as far as writing off billions of £s worth of "personal loans" in an effort to reduce the club's liabilities over the years.
Doesn't matter if the new guy is richer than god. There's no guarantee he'll be willing to keep the slush fund going.
Who is this new guy anyway ?

He's a Yoonited fan!
I'm for sticking with Roman.
I reckon if the guy was serious about buying us he would go for it as much as if Roman was looking to sell he would not set the price but listen to offers
I'm sticking with Roman as well, you don't know what type of people this guy Jim would attract !
