If I am correct, Donald Tusk said that the delay of article 50 will only be granted if they accept the deal as is. So this means that May now has 3 months extra to get this deal through. But hasnt it been shot down 3 times? What is going to change a 4th time?

I am not sure if I understand this. Seems getting a delay is rather futile then.

Maybe WWSPD can shed some light.

Actually, she doesnt have 3 months, because to get the delay, she needs to accept the deal before the end of March then?

Doesnt make any fecking sense. The EU have her cornered then. Looks like a no deal brexit?

Confused !!!

You've got 8 days to get your party and other opposition members on side to sign up to your deal, and 'get on with it', and what does Theresa decide to do? Throw the whole lot of them under the bus. Is her adviser a Russian spy or something?

And how on earth does she know that she is ‘on your side’. Absolutely no foundation or fact to back up that comment. A pash attempt to manipulate people. The only side she has is offside, where the deluded rseholes live.

EU council meeting today to thrash out an agreement. Many folk seem to take statements by Tusk, Junker, Macron, etc as red. When in fact the EU27 have to multilaterally agree.

Believe May is due to charm them today with her rapier wit and charisma...

IMO May's speech last night drove a further wedge between her and parliament. As many MPs pi$$ed that she's being trying to strong arm them into accepting the WA or leaving without a deal.

Whatever happens today I can't see how she keeps her cabinet together as they're completely split. Whatever happens given the issues in parliament (backstop will remain in any WA) can't see how she gets the WA passed in time (even with short extension).

Just read that she is not allowed to do a 3rd vote on the deal, only if the deal changes substantially. Thats not going to happen. And she wont get a delay unless they sign the deal.

Thats just a big mess. The only option is to sign the deal as is, which is not going to happen.

Hard brexit coming up

I am in the understanding she will only get an extension if the WA is accepted. So there is 8 days left to get the current WA accepted as the EU wont accept any other changes.

Is that correct?

*If* WA can't be passed the only credible option is to revoke a50. A long delay only increases uncertainty and the continued transfer of investment/capital outside of the UK.

That's what Tusk said but it's not (yet) the formal position of the EU27.

She's a cvnt. A really desperate cvnt. Just like the rest of her self-obsessed and self-destructive party. It's their fault we're heading for disaster. they made the key choices that led us to this humiliating mess. and she's STILL peddling the same bag o shiite. No-one is buying it. Sooner we're shot of them for good, the better.

Ok, lets assume it gets passed, that would then most likely mean a hard brexit, unless you accept the WA as is?

Unless Parliament passes a motion to take control and either revokes a50 or negotiates a longer extension with the EU after humphy is volleyed
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think I'll go and pass a motion right now.

Hard to predict with any certainty what will happen but it's hard to see the government (wilfully) letting no deal happen.

Apart from the obvious chaos which would ensue, the government would be forced into going back to the EU to renegotiate - from a position of desperation.
