Actually two decent titles, personally well worth adding to your to your list, even if only to check out later.

Really? Have you played them Amiga because I'm only going from a few reviews I remember of them and have no hands on experience of either game ( I do remember a wee bit of a kick off about Conans character customisation options)

I'm not sold on them as I have a HDD and external HDD full of games I need to complete first so I wasnt sure were worth adding (I would likely end up adding them to the library but never downloading them)

Fair enough Ezio, No I haven't played them, but the reviews were decent, and they have been improved over time.

I'm must admit I'm more interested in Conan than Surge, but both I would say are definitely worth at least adding to your list.

Amiga, if I could only download one, Conan or the other?

Bear in mind I love dark souls, but also love the idea of fighting as a barbarian

Have you played either?

Sorry baz, can't say I have played them. But the general feedback on forums is that both are worth playing.

I think I am all Dark Souled out, But I like the thought of creating my own world in Conan. It will be just whether I have enough time to play it.

I will be adding both to my downloads though

Fair enough Amiga, I may do too.

Conan looks intersting, but I think souls has to be either souls or blood borne for me, I like the monsters and mechanics, not sure I’d like the change of setting, might be worth a look, but scored a lot lower than the souls / bloodborne btanxhes have.

Well Bloodborne is a lot to try and top, so not surprised a game struggles to reach those heights, but Surge does seem to have enough unique features to keep it interesting.

I just doubt I will ever invest the time to play it to the end.

Conan I think I will keep dipping into.

Cheers Amiga. In a similar situ myself, lots of games and no time to play them!

Yeh I would say Surge falls firmly into a souls lite game very similar to lord of the fallen. Doesn't help I just got Sekiro so my souls itch is pretty much covered. However, if I was to chose one it would probably be Surge. However, you have reminded me I need to download marches games, well at least add them to my library. Seriously too many games and not enough time!

Erm yeh it's installed - unfortunately that's as far as I have got so far

None for me this month, unfortunately.

I've just bought a few games I missed out on when they came out, so they were quite cheap, happily!

DOOM - Started with this - exactly how I remember it: ridiculous, but such good fun!;

Resident Evil VII - think this will be my first RE since Code Veronica!;

Nier: Automata - I have no idea what to expect, but had really great reviews.

I have PROMISED myself that I have to clock all of these before I'm allowed to buy Sekiro. Huge, huge fan of BloodSouls games, so I can't wait

rooney, if you enjoy dark souls, you really should add the Surge to your list.

You don't need to download it, just add, and it will be there when you fancy giving it a go.

I'm a little worried that it will feel like a knock-off of Souls (i.e like Lords of the Fallen), but as you say, can't hurt to try it - could be pleasantly surprised!

Been reading reviews, apparently the best game realeased this year so far.

I’m interested now.

Sekiro is excellent - although only previously played about 2 hours of Bloodbourne so I am hopeless at these games and cheese it out a bit too much. Kinda reminds me a lot of Tenchu on the PS1 haha.

Anyway I've managed to get to the troll miniboss (I think its the second real miniboss so no spoilers) but not managed to beat him so far - the tracking on his grabs is honestly ridiculous.

Damn! Might have to order this now. It’s meant to be very good, so nice to hear others are saying the sane as the reviews

I'm PC master race and honestly they have nailed the surroundings. The backgrounds and environment are actually amazing and really make you feel like you are traversing through Feudal Japan. Looks great in 2.5k resolution at 60 fps :D

As for gameplay, I think they have nailed it - I love the stealth options and the combat feels really fluid. The grapple hook can make you feel like a total ninja and enhances the way you use the environment. Sword play just looks cool AF with all the parry/deflect moves. Bosses have lots of different moves that all look like actual martial arts. The first few times you deliver deathblows is amazing and the animations are great (especially as a deathblow gives you invincibility during the animation and can be a useful tool if you are surrounded)

The only thing I struggle with at the moment is the mini bosses that also have minions - it feels like the game is asking you to take a minion out and then reset everyone and then repeat. It kind of just feels unfair to try and take them all on - but at the same time like you are cheesing the encounter.

Overall a really solid game but also for those that are DS veterans I think playing this you might need to unlearn some habits - its not a Dark Souls game and its very different. Thats not from my limited experience of DS but from other streamers/youtubers that I watch.
