Just true, Ronnie blew that world final in 2014, he should have been more than 10-7 up at the end of the first day, he then missed a black In the middle to lead the 3rd session... I'm still peeved at that, could have been 3 in a row & his 6th title, Selby is a family man now, he's not as concentrated these days, I'm propably talking him to another win now 😂😂

I remember a long time ago actually liking Mark Selby believe or not, around 2008 when he was coming through, he probably would have been around my top 4 players I liked at the time, he won the Welsh open and Masters that year, I also liked his hair at the time and I think did actually try and copy it I liked the fact he could compete well against Ronnie, then slowly after few years realised a lot of his matches frames did seem to drag on a lot longer, at the time I just thought ahhh just one of them frames where everything is scrappy, eventually few acts of bad sportsmanship made me frustrated and then I started to dislike him.

Yes, I think he was 10-5, Selby playing terrible and missed a simple black and lost the frame for 10-6. Then there's that 17th Frame which gets played on the first day (I totally despise that they changed it) and suddenly from being a comfortable 5 frames up, it's now 10-7. Same thing happened with Carter in 2012 I think.

Then the next session was torture. Yes, Selby capitalised, but Ronnie's performance in that session disgusts me to this day. This was not a novice, this was a 5 time World Champion.

But to be fair to both, Selby has proved himself since and Ronnie is back to World Number 1 after missing around 40% of the tournaments.

Ronnie just posted on Facebook, on the snooker table saying... " not long now" he's bang up for this... C'mon Ron.
