Watford will tire and it should open up a bit more for Arsenal. Hard to keep this intensity up with 11 let alone 10.

The problem is we always give the opposition chances so mentally they don’t tire out like they would against a competent team that can see out a lead with ease. We need a 2nd goal or we ain’t winning this

Emery has to go for it here in the 2nd half. Bring on either Laca or Ozil for one of the CM. Maybe also bring in any of Kolasinac for Monreal, or AMN for Mustafi or Mavropanos. But the change must be positive and early to stretch Watford and kill off this game.

Xhaka is ok but in these kind of games he loses his intensity and gets lazy. Needs to up his game for sure

Mentally tiring them is more important. Try and leverage the extra man to create as many 2 on 1s as possible. Make it seem hopeless. Make the extra man seem like 4.

keeping possession is what they want. so they can break from the midfield when we pass sideways. arsenal need to be more direct with early balls and auba needs to run the channels. that way we keep the ball in their half.

Watford roll over against Man City and Liverpool yet play really well against us!
