Got to hope Yacob can get a grip of the team. He is the only one I can imagine has the necessary leadership qualities of those now available. This team needs to be ten to fifteen yards further up the pitch to close the gaps up and allow Lolley and Cash to get on the ball further up the pitch and prove as effective as they were earlier in the season.

How many people actually still want O'Neill at this point?
Can’t say I know any fans that want to see him in charge next season and to be fair, I’m renewing my ST wholly because I’m banking on O'Neill not being here next season. Fair play if people do, opinions and all.
I’d argue though that his appointment might actually be the worst choice out of all the potential candidates after Karanka. Performances have realistically been as poor as they could be but on top of that the fan base has polarised when a legend of MONs status struggles. Social media can be toxic at the best of times but it doesn’t do the #DinoOut brigade justice.
At least we could cut loose other managers and accept it didn’t work.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
MON was never one of the Forest Super Star's of either the League winning team or the European Cup.
He had his moments I will grant, but always looked slightly clumsey while on the ball; with the ball at his feet he was always looking down at it and couldn't look up to pick a pass out.
He was often isolated out on the right wing and wanted to drift into the middle of the field to try and get into the game; this always earned him a bollocking from the gaffer who wanted him out on the right hand touch line.
Forest had so many left footed players in the team and the club had a very wide pitch back then, unlike now.
He lost his place when Clough & Taylor bought Trevor Francis to the club.
He got his place back when Francis suffered his achillies injury. Perhaps it's unfair but I always remember that he left the club under a cloud after failing to take a shot against Clemence in [I think] a FA Cup game. I could add more about that, but it's a long time ago now.
Unfortunately I think he will be leaving under a cloud again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bit of a rewrite of history, RFB. All teams require balance. Think you’d find the likes of Robertson would argue the opposite and say that he wouldn’t have had half the success without the likes of MoN doing the donkey work in midfield for him!

Perhaps Mad Mel could buy the cave and still manage to turn a profit on the balance sheet with some fancy accounting...🤔
^^^^ absolutely priceless, seriously!! For the last decade I’ve been taking £50 bets off you sad muppets, never lost one, unsurprisingly as your pathetic long-forgotten club slides into oblivion.
Over these years the most trustworthy red dog - whom I would NEVER AGAIN take an honourable bet with in good faith was the low-life that is Mornchile.
The rest of you lot have paid up - to your credit - in good faith.
Strett, I’m sure will be no different, he’s a golfer (trustworthy) and I have his email address.
So long, losers
Up the mighty Rams 💪

Ps I’ve been drinking, sorry. It’s only banter x
Do you lot long for a relegation battle. At least your season wasn't over by March.
At least you have finally admitted I paid Baz. Only took ten months to do so, but I got you to in the end.
Cheers ya plum! X
At least you sad Sheep will get the chance to try and reclaim the Brian Clough trophy having ‘bottled’ yet another promotion push.
So predictable.😁
Mark Warburton could be appointee as the next QPR manager in time for Forest’s trip to Loftus Road next week...🤔
as your pathetic long-forgotten club slides into oblivion.
We are 5 places below them
... and have never played in the PL, never been to Wembley, been in more relegation scraps than Yeovil,
play in an old decrepit ground and are run like a circus.
Apart from that everything’s rosy

And yet you can only finish 5 places above us (and lower than you managed last year )
We still have something to play for; I genuinely love it, every season, being in and around it. Can we get in the playoffs?... can we get to Wembley (again)?
Never bothered about going up (again) it’s just great being in the mix. What ‘Highs’ have you had in a generation?

No. But getting there is, it’s a roller coaster, great fun but disappointing to have to get off. At least your were on it though to enjoy the ride.
Much better than relegation scraps and managerial merry-go-rounds I can assure you.
Such great fun there were 5,000 empty seats at PP at your last semi final?...
