If Liverpool wasn't chasing City, they wouldn't think like this.

I don't think Poch will subscribe to the idea. If he plays a weak team it will be due to injuries, he won't purposefully field a weak team IMO.

However, if Spurs are in the Ropey league next season then that will be funny.

It would be so Spursy to upset City, focus on games they have a chance of winning only to get beat by the likes of Brighton after gifting City, lose to Ajax and find themselves playing with Young Boys on a Thursday in July in a Ropey league qualifier.
