Would imagine this means Greg Stewart is off the list now ๐

Is jones not signed on pre contract ?

Oh well he is very average anyway
A quick google states
The pre contract wording is key
Seems you can’t agree to agree in Scots law
So agreeing to sign is unenforceable if either party change their mind
Injury can allow the club to pull out for example
Seems Celtic did this with a guy
Player can change his mind
However if the pre contract is signed and the contract signed in advance of commencement then it’s pretty much a done deal
Certainly at the time the article was written no examples of contract termination when an advance contract had been signed
So it depends it seems
Quite a lot of wingers and you could debate that at the moment not one of them, out with Kent and even then his stats aren’t brilliant, are good enough.
Still a low risk punt at someone who appears to have a decent amount of potential.
He's looked OK in the few games I've seen. At first thought I'd say probably not good enough but if his effort levels are high enough maybe he can make it
Hastie has been a revelation since he burst onto the scene but you have to question whether it’s because he was ‘new’ and opposing teams didn’t really have a game plan for him.
Feedback I have heard is that teams now know what he is all about and know how to deal with him,
That said he is talented and for a few hundred grand it’s low risk.
I would rather we signed Hastie than Greg Stewart for sure๐
