Always going to come to this, not fulfilling the fixtures. It was mentioned there would be a breaking point as you can't run a football club with no money. Here is that point. Whatever is going on between Anderson who appears not to be bothered if the club goes under and bassini who appears to be a fraud, (is he just a stooge for ken?)has finished the club off. I don't know what will happen now. Expulsion from the league? I don't see that as it would affect the table and the 2 games won't affect promotion or relegation. Just award the points to Brentford and forest. No point in fines, you can't get feathers of a frog. Points deduction (next season?) most likely embargo? This is as much the fault of the EFL in the first place allowing Holdsworth and later Anderson in as owners. Fit and proper? My ar5e. They are culpable too. Should have gone into admin in 2016, always said that would have been the right thing to do. Back in court on the 8th when the club will surely be wound up unless administration is an option with the 12 point deduction and 2 year embargo chucked in. Hopefully someone real and reputable will come in and take the club over and buy off the administrator and we can build from the ashes. As to the people and I don't call them football fans including the idiot who has posted above taking the p, f right off. One day it could be you.

We've been dragged through the mud enough already no doubt there's still plenty to come out in the wash and plenty more dragging through the mud to come.
Olkoswki handed in his breach of contract statement and notice to quit.

This may be controversial but I'm going to say it anyway.

Personally, I'm disgusted at the players. I understand that they have not been paid and sympathize with each and every one of them. However, They knew when they decided to go on strike that their decision could and possibly would be catastrophic for the club and the fans. It hasn't changed the fact that they still haven't been paid and what have they gained? The satisfaction of making a stand against a bad owner who couldn't give a $hit about the club or the fans.

Their stance, however, has put the club in an untenable position and what are they going to do whilst they are on strike? Sit on the arrises, that is what they are going to do.

There are many past players like Gundi, Stellios, JJ and a host of others who I believe would not have placed the club in this position. What are they going to gain? Nothing. Hopefully, they will be paid but this action is not going to help.

You have your opportunity to disagree. Go ahead.

Efl statement https://www.efl.com/news/2019/april/efl-statement-bolton-wanderers2/ The Brentford and forest games must be played. Maybe the u18s will give them both a better game anyway.

Nat must be turning in his grave, the players going on strike shows how bad they are, there contracts say if the club fails to pay them, the EFL have to so they would get paid in the long run anyway.
The under 23s should have played the last 20 matches
If Parky had the bottle.

Would except Jimmy Phillips or David Lee maybe both to prepare the u18 side to play the games. Wouldn't be fair to inflict them on Parkinson. Besides I wouldn't expect Parkinson to cross the picket line.

Parky should stay well away !!!

kinda forcing the under 18's to cross a picket line?
they haven't been paid correctly since January, reading some reports.
I just don't know who or what to believe anymore.

I ask somebody to do the team sheet for me while I am flying and look what happens. Even worse I find Ken & Co is still in charge of the mad house.
Everybody was smiling at me on a morning walk down the embankment I must remember to wear a Wanderers top again tomorrow morning.

The other options open to Ken as far as I can guess, is

1. Go back to the last bidders and see if a new deal can be arranged.

2 Place the club in administration. Remember he said only last week that was what he was considering doing.

3. If there are any other interested parties who may be able to complete quickly.

4. Let the taxman liquidate the club in the next court case.

Having seen the way Ken has operated over his tenure of the club, one can only take a stab in the dark as to what he will do but my guess would be to place the club into administration unless the last deal can be resurrected.

Any other thoughts on what may now transpire?

While I thought the players were right to make a stand they have made their point and should return to training and see out the last 2 games then just go. They will get their money anyway eventually. I don't think its fair asking kids to play 2 championship matches midweek and Sunday.

Personally I think ken will put Bolton in admin this week. Court next week and looks the only option to save the club.

Admin or the Kenwood could be bad for Ken though still in the EU so he could be brought back to face justice if anything dodgy is uncovered.

That's a fair point, Benny but didn't they say that they would not play the last two games unless they were paid? That looks unlikely unless either Bassini or Ken will put up the cash. Bassini is now going to do what he should have done before signing on the dotted line, he's employing a firm of forensic accountants to go through the books. That is of course if Ken makes them available.

On the prospect of the development team being used, if the first team squad doesn't have a rethink, it will be the only other option. They might just relish the thought of playing in a couple of Championship games. They will more than likely get stuffed but they may well be up for it. As for the first team, as you say they should go. Those under contract should be told there is no place in the club for them and be placed on the transfer list.

Will it happen? probably not but we will see.

Reports of a couple NEW parties interested in the club, possibly waiting for Bassini to fail Monday.

Not much time to get it all sorted before court

Sheffield United promoted to the Premier league. Promoted with us, they have gone one way good manager well run financially, modest investment. We have gone the opposite way. Maybe if ken had employed a better manager and put that money in/found an investor. Gary madines third promotion on the trot. Be interesting if Sheffield sign him or will Cardiff use him in league one?

The championship i mean. Its us that's in league one.

Do well to get the brentford game back on this week. Got to rule Tuesday out as a days notice surely too short. Best I can think is Wednesday or Thursday latest. The EFL won't allow next week.
