Exactly, so you actually don't care that there was a foul committed that wasn't punished.
Your only interest is because it could help Liverpool.
So why should people from outside of Liverpool care about it if you wouldn't under a different scenario?

Nobody is asking anybody to care. Only that the FA review the challenge and apply the rules accordingly. The referee missed it, is there enough there to charge the player? It looked to me that he meant to catch the player with his foot and that it was dangerous. The United player certainly thought so.

I know it sounds like semantics, but it's not a red card simply because it's dangerous play. It used to be defined as 'plays in a dangerous manner' and it's an indirect offence. Usually for no contact situations.
Endangering the safety of an opponent is different. It's serious foul play, does involve contact and is linked to 'brutality' and 'excessive force'.
Important to understand the difference between the two.

Violent conduct and endangering the safety of an opponent doesnt require any kind of force. You can be sent off for not even making contact.

People seem to be confusing someone calling for the usual processes within the FA to be followed, with appealing for support from other fans.

My point is that you wouldn't be calling for this to be looked at if it didn't impact you. Which suggests it's not the fact a foul was committed that bothers you, it's what you can get out of it.

If you know that then don't say 'dangerous play' can be a red card, because that's wrong.
Completely disagree with you that it endangered the safety of the player and that it was violent conduct. Just wasn't a strong enough challenge imo.

Of course dangerous play can be a red card.
A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent
Violent conduct and endangering the safety of an opponent doesnt require any kind of force. You can be sent off for not even making contact.
