Ji, don’t you see how obvious this all is

When Jose left, Pogba and the players had that initial new manager bounce and were playing for themselves much as the Chelsea ones did when he left. Then that wore out and with us we’re left with what we’re seeing now. With Chelsea it was Conte’s second season poor showing etc

Pogba wants out. I’m sure deep down we all realise that. He likely sees how much hard work needs doing to get us to the top and it’s unlikely to happen at his peak and has a route to Real where he’s able to hide a bit more like he can for France with their hugely talented side and like he did for Juventus too. And when I mean hide I mean he will have good games but when he has games where he can’t be bothered he has other players to pick up the slack.

He’s a corrosive element in the changing room because lots of the other players look up to him and it makes him incredibly powerful there. It cost Jose his job and it could cost Ole his job unless Ole can get him out.

You have absolutely no idea what's going on in the changing room. None at all.

If he wants out then I'm in total agreement we should let him go. But will you do yourself a favour and stop with conjecture like this? If Ole views him a problem I'm sure he'll look to get rid. But if he doesn't that's good enough for me.

I wonder if Robb would be carrying this anti Pogba stance if he’d have been playing under Van Gaal and then got him sacked. The way he’s turned on him compared to spamming our board with articles on him three years ago is hilarious to see.

I’m equally as doubting of Ole’s abilities as I am of LVgs as a manager for us right now. So surely I’d be all for Pogba staying?

Nope. Where there’s smoke there’s fire and both Gary Neville and Roy Keane are saying it as well as multiple other people.

This site is hilarious because people seem to want to take shots at me for having a perfectly reasonable opinion - that Pogba should leave if he wants to go and that he’s a bad influence in the changing room.

Not really hilarious at all. Three years ago I was all for his signing. As were lots of people. He hasn’t pushed on as expected and is now a disruptive element.

There’s nothing wrong with changing your opinion when seeing how things turn out. Try it sometime Arab

Robb.... I don't believe everything in the press that fits an agenda.

The obvious part to me is we suffered 10 or so injuries and then had a massive, collective dip in form and confidence.

If actual facts come to life... I'll change my mind accordingly.

Major change in direction and approach required from top to bottom at the club

One wonders if the problems in the squad can be properly tackled before the issues at the top are addressed

Expecting Pogba to take games by the scruff of the neck like Gerrard is akin to signing Gianfranco Zola for his heading ability on set pieces.

The collective dip in confidence hadn't carried over to pogbas international performances of late

He's still shyyte with France but it doesn't show because he's surrounded by world class players.
There's a reason why French fans single him out for boos when the team are not performing well. He just doesn't seem to care at times

That's what makes it a collective dip in form

Really

Haven't seen them play

I just had a quick look at his ratings for the last French international and he got a 7 probably double what he's been achieving at utd of late

I personally can't excuse lack of effort on the amount of team mates injured. In fact I expect players like pogba to step up to the plate in situations like this

Loads of stuff to wade through here.

1. The only thing Pogba would need to do ref a visa is put his signature on the application. The club will be doing the rest.

2. I certainly would not single out Pogba for being lazy.

3. Our poor form isn't due to the bounce effect wearing off. It is due to injuries and specifically Herrera's. It is due to a change of tactics and bizarre team selections.

Our win ratio with Herrera in the starting line-up (I am told) tells a significant story.

Anyway... Whatever happens I hope it's sorted quickly. If he goes, we'll have a decent bit of cash for a replacement... If he stays, hopefully we get the right players to get our form back

Agree. Sell him ASAP and have everyone we need by the beginning of pre season ideally.

Pogbas a good player and probably will do well at Madrid, but he don't suit us, he dominates the playmaking , we need a couple of playmakers wi a bit less ego , spread the threat around etc ....
