I personally think that had Chelsea put any effort at all into developing their youth then RLC would be one of the top midfielders in the PL by now.

He struggles to play 90 minutes due to his fitness levels and has had a back injury lately which has hindered his growth.
I certainly think he has been hindered at Chelsea this season, but as rightfully pointed out, he has been showing why he is worthy of selection for his recent performances.
Also just to note, 112 minutes per goal/assist isn't always the greatest stat to base your evidence off dependant how many games/minutes the player has played.
Although Garth Crooks is a . How you can claim somebody has "unearthed a gem" after 1 good performance I'll never know. Fair enough, the Bournemouth lad had a good game, but lets see if he can do it consistently.

He's a box ticker for the ultra-PC right-on BBC.
RLC struggled with injuries early part of the season. Even when on loan at Palace he was injured for periods of last season. He’s recurring back problems which needs to be managed properly. Neither the club nor RLC still have to find the best solution of fixing this long term issue.
As his Dad said, had he been playing under Poch he would have progressed much better. Shame Chelsea haven't developed him as they should have, he could be top class.
This season he's been good enough to be ahead of players like Barkley and Kovacic. However, Conte's first season was two of Kante / Matic / Fabregas - all in good form. The second season was the mistake - they bought Bakayoko. Loftus-Cheek was okay for palace, he wasn't exceptional. This season he is finally starting to fulfill his promise. Some players never do that - others just need time.

I always look at his team of the week just to see if he has chosen players based purely on whether they scored that weekend, which makes me laugh. It makes me wonder whether he actually watches games, or just looks to see who scored after the game. He inevitably includes 4 wingers and no defensive midfield player - because they never score. But if he includes a Chelsea player I always look closer to see his reasoning, and I use "reasoning" in the loosest possible way.
