I doubt any of us saw any kind of future for him when he came back from.germany after the poor loan spell.
And even when he was on the bench for that glorious game v the BS he'd come from nowhere.
But when we've needed something magic he's turned up. I'd have him in the squad next season for sure as long as we also get a good replacement for studge.
I’ve never been convinced, but last night was a game changer for me. He holds up the ball so well and has an eye for goal when the pressures on. I’d give him a new contract any day.
hes looked a lot better, he looks stronger, he worked hard last night barely stopped running lead the line and the press, they didnt know where to get tight to him or drop deep between him and mane... he scored the vital goals but i also felt he worked hard and did a lot of work in unsettling their back line.
Should get 20-30m for him, we paid 10 we have already probably got that back in loan fees since wolfsburg paid 6 or 7 mill for 1 season loan? Hes only just turned 24, either sign him to a new contract and start using him more or loan him straight out or sell him contracts up in 2020 i think and he needs to be playing, hes a decent player.
I don't mind keeping Origi only IF we buy a striker who can genuinely challenge Firmino's place in the starting XI. Origi is only good enough to be back up

Yeah i agree we need a player who is at their best centrally but can cover wide.
That young lad at PSG Mbape or something, he'd do a job 😉
who knows, Klopp might have faith in Brewster like he does TAA n Gomez etc
Brewster will save millions.
I'm unapologetically a big fan of his.
I hope Origi stays, he's quicker than Firmino which suits certain games and let's be honest, probably a more lethal finisher than Bobby as well. Nowhere near the same skill on the ball or build-up Bobby has though.
He covered a lot of ground yesterday for someone who has played so little, but give him a run of games and he will score consistently as he has done for us before.
one thing is clear he either needs selling before hes gone for nothing aged 25 or we offer him a new contract.
Last night he was terrific. He's stronger than what I thought he was and has good pace as well. Showed a "Number 9" ability for the first goal and his technique for his 2nd goal was very good, that was a touch one to finish really despite catching Barca out.
Certainly showed he has the capability to be at least a good squad member when called upon and think he could be used a lot more next season. A couple of quality wide players coming in as squad players and that would be ideal.
Fully agree, Origi is fast and strong and quick and my friend
Lads.. if he actually worked that hard all the time he'd be playing.
The fact is when it's a wet weekend in the fa cup and he's ended he isn't bothered.
That's why wolfsburg dumped him... the fact is he doesn't quite get that the level of work he putin last night is the levels got to reach week in week out.
See mane. Every game is same level. He didn't "shine" last night cos he did exactly what he did all the time.he was immense btw, just he does it Every week so the guys who don't get the plaudits
