As a Brexit supporter I love the idea of an all British European Cup final, and how glorious that would be if Arsenal and Chelsea joined the fun to drive that particular point home?
As to who is the least of 2 evils in the CL. my support goes to Liverpool for two reasons. They have been there before and their fans will not crow nearly so much as the London club. Also I applaud Liverpool for performing such a wonderful demolition on Barca, making the "best team on the planet" look like amateurs. Liverpool probably deserve this additional star on their shirts, even though I will not be sharing in their joy.
Not sure how you have made the link to Brexit Tway but seeing you are a Brexit supporter coming to illogical conclusions probably come's easy.
Anyway...............................
Liverpool are the less of the two evils for me.

What has Brexit got to do with football?
Can you explain to me what Brexit has to do with English teams getting to final?
Go back to your Brexit hole with your deluded Brexit ideas, Tway!

My apologies , not very much thats obvious, but you do not see the humour/ irony of 4 British teams competing at the top of a European club competition , at this divisive political time, then I guess you never will.

Usually I'd sat keep to topic but I'd rather have an entire lifetime talking about Brexit than watch the utter rubbish that is the champions league final with 2 of my most hated teams.
I bit of my love for football has died

I agree with Markus,as our teams come to the forefront in Europe again, the brexiteers are wishing to return to the nineteenth century again......... !.
A Spurs win ,to keep all the crowing down from that insufferable hell hole in the north.
I understood Tway's irony about Brexit immediately.
As to who I would want to win the Final I obviously will also be very original and say that I want Liverpool to win, however if Spurs were to win I would be perversely pleased for my good Spurs mates who have had to put up with some proper kicks in the teeth over recent years. It's not as if we haven't also had our days in the sunshine in recent times so I can afford to be fairly chilled about it all.
30 years ago it would have been a very different story.

I know...but jeez mate it's fackin $puds....i can't get to be comfortable with that on any level
First of all, shouldn't Brexiteers want all English teams OUT of Europe?
And another thing that Tway got wrong (apart from Brexit) is this quote about Liverpool fans "their fans will not crow nearly so much". You clearly don't know any Liverpool fans.
Having said that, a Spurs win would be an absolute disaster - I couldn't cheer for that. It's like the West Germany v Argentina World Cup final from 1990 when I wanted both teams to lose. Is it too much to hope that they both lose?
I'm sure you feel very secure with the £billions you Londoners get for everything but where I live it is getting paved over with all the fields going. As you saw with Extinction Rebellion, we are quickly wiping out all wildlife and insect life on Earth for new housing estates for our growing population. This population growth is partly due to being in the EU and with an unknown number of people coming if we had voted to stay. That is completely unacceptable for the UK and it was towns like mine that see this destruction that were right IMO to vote for Brexit.
Also if you've got millions of working age people coming they get old too and we need loads more young people to support them. The only way to combat this intractable problem is to Brexit. No other way.
Plus since the vote wages have gone up (supply and demand) they can actually afford to live and homes have become more affordable. We also got a new bus station after having one from the 1960s and the roads are being done.
Brexit will be the best thing ever to happen to the UK. And it seems to be benefiting our teams Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, Spurs - an us v them if you will. Nothing wrong with that.
