CHO - out for the season
Rudiger - out for the season
Kante - 2/3 weeks could possibly make the final if we make it.
We should have finished Frankfurt off in the 1st leg, especially 2nd half.
The return of Rebic could be a problem so I expect them to score, but I think we'll win on the night.
We know that Sarri has never won a trophy,so he will never have a better opportunity than this, just hope he really goes for it tonight.

Really can't see him breaking type and going with another attacker, actually think kovacic looked decent in kantes position when he come on v Watford. Fully expect him to start.
Yep, Pedro is never going to play in midfield. It'll be Kova or Barkley.
Why not try Pedro in midfield,he could do a job there, and liven things up a bit as well !
Don't think the 2nd leg of a semi final is the right time to experiment with players out of position.
As Sarri would say - Pedro's not good enough in the defensive phase to play in the RCM role.
Will any of our returned loan players be allowed to play should we reach the final or do all players have to be registered in the EL squad as in the CL?
now that we've sorted top four, this game has for me taken on a whole less importance.
Yeah i'd like us to win it again, especially if we see of the goonz in the final, - but i'm still raging mad about $puds currently to concentrate on it.

think that'd be an ask Brum....I know who you'd like in there..
Same, it's become less signifcant now as I only the EL as a route to get into the CL but now that we've secured top 4, my interest has dropped.
But, winning a trophy is important for Sarri and feel he deserves it after a difficult 1st season. A season that I believe he's done well and met the club's objectives

Morata of course!
What about Amps, is he available yet ?
But seriously the only one as a viable candidate would be James, with Tammy, Mount and Tomori still with their respective teams until after the playoffs!
There is also Aina but I don't know what the situation is regarding his supposed permanent move to Torino.
There are others that have distinguished themselves on loan but if there was the possibility of adding fresh blood (which I doubt there is) to the squad for the final, I'd say their chances of Sarri chancing it are lower than a rattlesnakes belly in a copper mine!

Win EL and we are top seed for CL groups
The way this season has gone in general I think we're going out tonight..
It's been an absolute disaster.
I think the last game I remember enjoying was knocking spurs out the cup and look where they are now.
Just awful.

You do realize if we go through tonight we'll have got top 4 and reached two major finals?
If that's your definition of an 'absolute disaster' then you'll never be a satisfied fan whoever you support.
Think we'll nudge it..... just.
I'm far more confident heading into the final (if we get there). I have faith Hazard will save one of his best performances for his last and singlehandedly crush whoever it is, Arsenal or Valencia.

You get what you see Sheriff!!!
I have a question for anyone who knows - regarding CL qualifying games. Right now, the team that finishes 3rd in the league qualifies automatically for the CL group stage, and the team that finishes 4th has to play home and away knockout prior to that to qualify for the group stage. So finishing 3rd rather than 4th is important.
However, the team who wins the Europa League qualifies automatically for the CL group stage (and is even seeded). So on the face of it even if we finish 4th but win the EL we will still qualify automatically for the CL group stages. The same goes for the winner of the Champions League though - which this year could be Spurs.
So my question (after that long intro) is - if we finish 4th but win the EL and Spurs finish 3rd but lose the CL final - will that force Spurs to play CL qualifying games? Similarly, if we finish 3rd but do not win the EL and Spurs finish 4th but win the CL - will we still have to qualify for the CL group stage? If so, it makes finishing 3rd or 4th less important. Although we won't know that until after our last premier league games. Truly crazy season. For what it's worth - I can't see us beating Leicester in our last game anyway, so just as well we qualified last weekend.
