I like to think without his back problem(something ignored or unknown to many a judgemental pundit)

And idiots in the crowd.
There's times when I genuinely believe we're the best fans in the world (e.g. unanimously cheering Mourinho in a relegation battle), but there's also times when I just cringe at us. Same group of fans who accuse Sarri of having favorites, namely Jorginho, yet RLC & CHO would get away with having shambolic games without a peep from these people.
But that rant aside, fully in agreement. He's stunned me, thought he wasn't our level and I was wrong. He's like a watered down but far more consistent Pogba, not a great player but a complete player if that makes sense. Can't wait to see more of him next year.
Social media has so much to blame for the dumbing down of fans.

The Mourinho situation also brought the worst out of them the game after he left and let's not get started on the Torres/Sturridge situation.
I said on the haven you can sort of forgive such reactionary bullshet on forum's, but the crowd represent us Infront of the world and the way they act goes a long way to how were perceived and their lack of thinking outside the box is a complete embarrassment at times.
Agree with everything said above. I also doubted that he was a top level performer - but I am glad to admit that I was wrong about him. His fitness is the only thing holding him back right now - he is strong and powerful, and has the ability to create and score. The way he lopes around the pitch can seem like he's not trying at times - a criticism that is often aimed at some larger players. But when you see him stride away from other players it makes you realize that although he doesn't look like he's trying that hard - he is fast.
I just hope he finds a solution to his back problems.
