I was happy to rationalise it all with half a hour to go last night. If we lost, we had gone down all guns blazing, leaving Leeds with bloodied noses after all, and having over-achieved in the first place to even get this far. A great season full of highs and lows, a wonderful win at Old Trafford to look back on, and ready to start all over again in August.

But winning’s better.

I don't think I ever hated a player as much as Bamford.
