Even though safe-standing isn’t authorised, the club is making it safe for those that do it regardless. I quite admire that responsibility.
I was at Wembley for the semi final and our section stood the majority of the time, far more danger of people falling forward in a domino effect when the seat in front is at shin height than when there is a waist high barrier.
However the situation at Celtic is that in the designated area the expectation is that you will stand, the seats are only used when it is a european game, as EUFA do not allow standing. Not sure how it would work with a mix of people wanting to stand and others wanting to sit.
At every away game the away fans stand throughout the 90 minutes. Far from safe that as I have many times seen people falling over the seat in front when a goal is scored. This barrier seating is not safe standing but is a step towards that. There is literally a barrier in front of every seat. Everyone will stand to watch the game once installed so anyone that prefers to sit will need to get a seat in a different part of the ground
Moutinho confirmed as player of the season and Vinagre as young player. Jota’s goal against Cardiff voted goal of the season.
And Albion are still a championship club
Jimenez voted by the players as their player of the season
Centre back Lewis Richards voted academy player of the season
Wolves pocket £124.3Mil from the season
In contrast Man City pocketed £148 Million
🤑
Sounds like City maybe in trouble with ffp. Money coming in described as advertising evidently just investment from their owners. Could lead to a ban on transfers like Chelsea, or a ban from the Champions League
