No, it's not boring. They won it fairly.

They have been the best side in the league by a country mile, even if Liverpool fans think not.

City should have put away that pen at Anfield, that would have made it a fairer outcome. Same as Chelsea, should have beaten them at Stampede, but they had 1 shot and 1 jammy goal.

Get over it. Your club spends as much as City?

Are you saying Chelsea titles don't count too?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can you actually confirm who the OP supports? Based on his article history I cant
----------------------------------------------------------------------
morespurs cannot confirm whether Greaves is dead or alive, I think you are asking a bit much here.

“They have been the best side in the league by a country mile, even if Liverpool fans think not“

Morespunk talking shiite again
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There was a huge difference between City and Liverpool at OT.

Liverpool barely had a shot at goal and we had 3 injured players during game.

City absolutely dominated us.

The PTS totals flatter Liverpool. They are definitely the 2nd best team in the league but I don't think it's as close as the table suggests.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course you don’t

Wasn’t it you that said you’d sooner a Hitler 11 won the league than us

I see nothing wrong with that comment.

Yeah we’ll take your “They are definitely the 2nd best team in the league but I don't think it's as close as the table suggests“ comment with a pinch of salt

To you, it may mean nothing.
But to us, it meant a lot.

Our fanbase is growing.
Our value as a club is growing.
Our profile is growing.

We are setting new standards never seen before on these shores.
Give it a few more years of domination, and we may have to seriously consider expanding the Etihad again.

Exactly City did not need dives from Fabinho and spills from Rico Speroni Pickford Lloris to secure points

They also had much more fixtures in Cups. Gap should be more like 10-15 points.

Liverpool were ordinary as soon as they went top. See performances v West Ham and Leicester

Another day another article of moaning from bitter fans about City’s win. Boring? Probably play the best football out of any title winning team. Not competitive? What on earth do you call two teams, on 95+ points, with one point separating them, who have just gone on incredible winning runs pushing each other all the way? Not exciting/no twists? Liverpool were 7 points ahead at Christmas time. The Mane chance in their game 1mm from going in and changing everything.

Can you guys not just enjoy things for what they are instead of complaining about nigh on everything. Comments about how much they spend is near mute. They spend well. Pep coaches their new signings well. United spent massive amounts under Mourinho and look where that has got them. Liverpool have, to, have spent massive amounts, surprise, they now have a brilliant team. Know and appreciate greatness (both Liverpool and City) when you see it.

City have been brilliant dominating games from start for finish unlike Liverpool, who have had jitters since Xmas, but done very well to grind out results (with a lot of good fortune and very favourable fixture list)

Surely this is a WUM?

City and Liverpool both had nervy moments in the run in yet both overcame everyone in the end - brilliant from both.

However City in the CL, City lost to the first decent team they faced, while Liverpool knocked out Bayern and Barca

We won something like 9 games on the bounce in the run in.

Don’t mind CFC. He tends to talk shiite in the hope something sticks.

Spurs were in terrible form when they played City to be fair.

And needed deflected goal and hip goal to go through

Think the anger stems from the fact Liverpool have done what clubs like Chelsea, United and Arsenal could have if they hadn't repeatedly facked up over the past few seasons.

With City it's easy to brush off, they're playing by different rules financially and (quite rightly) their success is hollow.

COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE

When you actively have your closet derby rival fans, Manchester United cheering you on so that Liverpool do not win the title says it all.

All fans seems totally apathetic to City, nobody cares if they win it.

When City win its just boring!!!
-----------

I think that this is a good point. I don't feel anywhere near as bothered about City as I would had it been Liverpool. At the end of the day City have won the lottery. Liverpool if they won the title would fully deserve it as they are a properly run club.

That said, I do think it was a fairly exciting title race.

Comments like this are ridiculous. Which Liverpool fan has said that City weren't the best side in the league?

By a country mile is obviously ridiculous as they finished one point clear but they are clearly the best team in the division.

I wouldn’t say it was “boring” tbf but there weren’t many twists and turns, both teams just kept winning. City have a game in hand for what seemed about three months didn’t help.

Whenever they played they knew a win would take them top. I know ex-players say you’d rather have the points than the game in hand but I don’t know.

Also, I don’t think they hype around Liverpool was anywhere near as bad as in 2014, all the stuff with Gerrard, that Suarez, smug, smug Brendan, it’s a more likeable (if that’s the right word) Liverpool under Klopp IMO.
