Evra is friends with Pogba, they're always on social media together.

If he says he thinks he will leave, I'll take that as a real likelihood and almost a certainty thats what he wants.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well he's never shut down the real Madrid speculation in fact he fueled it with what he said
------------

Yes, he is almost certainly after a move to Real. To be honest, it would probably be best for all involved. We are going to need 2 top CMs if that happens though. It really is going to be a very interesting summer for us.

Evra also said Pogba was the best player of the season.

What was the incident with the fan, missed all the footy at weekend
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He gave his shirt to a fan and on his way back out of the crowd he was given abuse by a couple of fans.

Here’s the video.

If the rumours are true that Madrid want Eriksen they may not even go for Pogba. There’s no way they will go for all three of Hazard, Eriksen and Hazard.

That's bull. Evra is protected ing Pogba and if he isn't Pogba has probably been whinning and lyingb to Uncle Pat. If he was committed then he wouldn't have been strolling around the pitch against Barcelona, Everton, wolves ,Huddersfield, etc. I literally burnt more energy screaming at the players I those matches than Pogba did

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Can you tell me why he’s singled out with worse players on the pitch?
----------------------

Its not about ability - it is about effort. He gets singled our because he doesn't run enough and he doesn't care. If a player gives his all, even if he has a bad game, the fans are more likely to give him a break.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Almost our entire squad doesn’t run enough, he definitely doesn’t run the least. They’re people miles behind him in running stats, it doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be criticised but ffs no individual should have to take that schit.

Even the people around those 2/3 nobHeads were staring at them in disbelief.
------------------------

He does run a decent amount, or at least jog a decent amount, but he doesn't bust a gut for the team at the right moments and often fails to track his runner. It is a lack of effort/desire.

I wouldn't personally carry on like that, but supporters pay a lot of money to watch United. They have a right to vent their frustrations if they feel a player isn't trying enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No they don't at all.

If I underperform at work, I don't expect foul-mouthed rants by my colleagues or customers.

De Gea and Pogba are definitely going in my opinion. So we need a new goal keeper and 3cms as we needed 2 already and we should be spending 200m on top of the sales of Pogba and De Gea so I expect a summer of plus 300-350m
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No way are we spending £350m.

If we lose Pogba and De Gea, as well as Herrera, Mata, maybe more, people need to accept the realistic possibility that it's Wolves, Everton and Leicester we are battling with next season.

Why aren’t young, matic, Sanchez, martial, rashford, Jones, Lukaku singles out?

In fact martial and lukaku are worse and much more lazier than Pogba but where’s the hate towards them? Martial is extremely lazy! Never busts a gut and is less interested than Pogba! Same with lukaku

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The crowd are often frustrated with Young and Lukaku, more vocally so than Pogba.

Let's be honest, Pogba doesn't want to be at OT. He doesn't have the heart for the battle we face.

Young, poor as he is, at least is a better trike model for the youngsters. Ole needs to shun out this social media culture within the squad and bring in professionals. Sick of see Lingard, rashford, Lukaku and Pogba forever posting videos at drake concerts and nights out.

Pogba had a good few weeks after Ole arrived, if he did that consistently he'd be worth the hype

I'm not defending some of Pogba's performances but when the team was performing well under Ole with energy and movement he did look a very effective player.

Of course we also wanted him to help drag us through our downturn in form but, in the right environment (which I hope Ole can provide), I think he he could be very effective for us moving forward too if he wants to be here. The caveat with that being he has to be deployed as the more attacking of a midfield three.

As for giving it back to the fan I don't really mind that if it was done because he genuinely cares.

Pogba has become an unnecessary distraction - not entirely of his own making in fairness - but I can't help but feel we might be better off cashing in and transforming the midfield into a more functional unit, rather than try to set up the midfield to get the best out of one player.

We'd be looking at completely overhauling the entire midfield in one window, which of course is going to cost money, but there seems to be three young, hungry, hard-working and talented midfielders with a good blend of attributes available this summer in Tielemens, Rice & Fernandes.

The likelihood of bring in three midfielders alone seems very slim in one window, but if we are to lose Pogba as well as Herrera, we need two just to break-even numbers wise. And we needed a quality midfielder to come into the team even with Herrera & Pogba!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair though, whilst Herrera was about it wasn't a case of setting up the midfield to suit one player, because for the last five or so years, we've had a squad on balance best suited to a 4-3-3.

Really, we've just been short of more attacking fullbacks (or at least have constrained the attacking fullbacks we have).

Lukaku and Martial are best suited (for different reasons) to playing in a three man attack with wide forwards, as was Ibra. Di Maria would have been, ditto Sanchez if he wasn't dogpat.

Again, for different reasons, Pogba, Herrera, Matic, Schweinsteiger and Carrick are/were, and Young and Valencia should have been.

-------------------
I think this is the key issue. People expect him to turn into a player he is not, just because he cost £90m.

He's always overplayed the ball, he's always been a bit lazy, he's always needed good players around him to get the best out of him.

He is a flawed player and money wont change that.

Ji, that’s because Pogba’s physique gives people the impression that he’s something he’s not. He should use his physique more to his advantage, so I have frustrations with him over that, but it’s not something he’s been coached to do/he may have had a reluctance to it also. Either way, it is what it is, and he is what he is regardless of why.

We may not have been so actively setting up the team to suit Pogba, but what I suppose I mean is that in order to get the best from him, we have to play him on the left of a midfield three. For me that's too restrictive and means we either commit to that formation/shape, or we carry a player not in his best role and not especially effective otherwise.

Essentially he's a luxury player - an excellent one on his day - but I just feel we'd be better off bringing in players who are more adept in more than one midfield role. He also brings baggage with him - again, not always of his own making - so if we could use the money we'd get for him wisely, I'd be all for it. Like I say: Rice, Tielemens, Fernandes, Neves... These are quality players, at good ages, who are dynamic and hard-working. They are also available this summer by all accounts.

Go and get three of them and replace Pogba.

What I don't really get is that some of the most vocal people now against Pogba were the most vocal about praising him through the good run... Did they really not notice the injuries to Matic and Herrera (and key attackers? It's frankly weird.

If we get someone better than Herrera (not impossible) we could be good to go, with Matic/McT fighting it out for the other spot.

If he wants out, fine.. bye bye... But if he wants to stay... Then we just need a Herrera replacement.
