Would be gutted if he left. Great player and great attitude on the pitch, and speaks very refreshingly off it.

Would like to see Sessegnon learning from him for a season or so before making the LB spot his own.

No way should we sell him. He has played well this season and is key to our never say due attitude.

He isn't at the level of a couple of years ago but still a key player and hopefully after a summer off will come back firing.

He's had injuries which is perhaps why we were happy to let him go last year.

Its a fine balance because do you give a player a big, long contract to keep him and protect his value but then find if his form or fitness drops its almost impossible to get rid of a player in decline on a big contract.

I think there's a decent chance a lot of his "injuries" have been mental health breaks. He seems physically capable of playing twice in a week, but mentally I'm not so sure given his past comments about struggles with his mental health. That would also explain why sometimes he's seemed less committed or happy.

That said, he's too good a player to let go when Spurs are already facing the loss of Alderweireld and Eriksen. I agree with Philspurs - he'd be a good figure for Sessegnon to learn from, particularly given that Rose also made the transition from natural winger to converted full back.

I'm not convinced there's another player out there - let alone another homegrown one - for the same price who's as good. Digne, maybe, assuming Everton would sell, though obviously he's not homegrown. There's Tierney from Celtic though there's no guarantee he'd make the step up without teething issues. Chilwell would be way too expensive.

All in all, Rose should stay. 100%.

Stay 💯. I like him, and I think it's a mutually beneficial relationship now he seems to be over his health issues.

Should definitely keep him. 28 is still young in football these days and he's easily our best full back. No reason to sell.

Hes my favourite spurs player tbh, agees with everything he says off the pitch - ultimately would have preferred if he kept the complaints about our transfer policy in house but was still fair criticism and what we were all thinking
