Coisty is learning the same as Lennon yes he made a mistake last night but so did Lennon last sunday leaving out two of his best midfielders.

I think you have to give Coisty till the end of the year and then judge him, remember he has not been given the budget he thought he was getting.

I think the problem with Old Firm fans we expect our team to win every game and think we have the right to this, but bottom line both our managers are just learning the job, which is bound to make wrong decisions along the way

Time will tell but your right wining old firm games does not give you trophies

if he lost on sunday there would be more than a few fans wanting him out as it is he won on sunday so that will keep the wolves away for now

Well said Jinky

I'm still to be convinced he's the man for the job. I know a good few of my mates on Sunday were saying thats him "turned the corner".....but last night was shocking!

I could have forgiven it, had he played our kids against Falkirk, but it was the same team as sunday bar, Greasy and Edu!!!

The Players definitely owe those mad fans who braved that weather last night and went to the game.

Thank god my misses is up the duff right now, so away games are a no-go for a while, or I'd have been one of the poor sods witnessing that while being drowned

I think Lennons poor team selection and tactics only papered over the cracks for Ally. Granted its always great to win an Old firm game, only time will tell if Ally is the man for the job.

Out of 3 competitions already isnt a great start considering the apprenticeship hes served

I wouldn't blame Ally for last night. If well paid players cannot put in the required effort to beat a mid table first division team then they shouldn't be there at all.

Lee McCullough, your days as a Rangers footballer are I'm afraid behind you.

David Healy, your days as a footballer are behind you.

Finally, if a team of Tiny tots from Falkirk can put in a good performance like that, then why do we not give our own "youngsters" and extended run in the team?

I'm not that bothered about last night to be honest.

While the league cup is nice to win, especially when you beat Celtic on the way it's not vital.

It's disappointing that such a strong(ish) side couldn't beat first division opposition and it does raise questions about the players' commitment but I don't think you can really hound Ally for going out of what really is a worthless competition.

If this was the Scottish Cup I'd be raging and I won't say I'm not annoyed but I'm not getting all that angry about it.

Better managers than Ally in charge of better teams have been punted out of the league cup by minnows it happens all the time (especially in England) and as long as he does well in the other two trophies I'll forgive him last night.

In a word, no. Sunday did not keep Ally in a job.

I love the way that the ever fickle fans come on screaming for Lennon's head, or Ally's head, blaming them for this, that & the next thing, but without giving one simple thing.

An alternative.

Yep, that's right - who would you have in instead?

Because, let's face it, people are not exactly queuing up around the block for either job.

So, by all means , moan, groan, grumble, whine etc.

But if you want the manager fired - at least say who should be in the hotseat instead.

Papa, get real you plum. How ott and spectacularly naive you are.

No Ledley, no Stokes, no Commons, the inclusion of Loovens and Sammy. Mulgrew in midfield. Im loving the false dawn caused by one old firm victory and the disregards for the Maribor, Malmo and Falkirk debacles

And it's a guarantee you'd have won with any of them in the team? Stop making scapegoats for ur team getting steamrolled. Ur £10m men never turned up in the middle of the park. Ur full of it mate.

No false dawn at all but give credit where it's due. You were outclassed and ur hiding behind excuses. If anyone's naïve it's Lennon. He watches these guys every single day in training and picked what he thought was his best team for the task. And they got destroyed by a better team. What's OTT?

This is the poison chalice that is Old Firm Management.
McCoist is here for at least a season, no matter how he fares.
He deserves a fair crack.

Two days ago, all the talk was about Lennon being sacked, and now that he squeezed past Ross County, his job is apparently safe?

Get a grip and stop with the shotgun "LEt's sack him" attitude ffs
