I wish we’d both come to an agreement to say we’ll boycott it unless they change the venue
Might make uefa stand up and take note
I get we might face serious repercussions but with the PL tv money these days it’s not like it’s a major life or death being in this crap anyway

----------------------------------------------------------------------
That would be amazing, but neither teams would logically want to do it. Far too much at stake and UEFA know it.
The venue, the ticket allocation, 2-3 weeks after the season ends, now Mkhi unable to play, the whole thing has become a farce tbh
If you win it’s bitter sweet because one of your main players doesn’t get to play or be there to celebrate, if we win it’s bitter sweet because you wasn’t allowed to play your full strength team. Kind of sucks either way
It’s a European final and we’ve got all these negatives, it’s pathetic really purely because of an organisations greed and corruptness
But yeh nothing we can do unfortunately, but believe me when I say I take no pleasure that one of your best players can’t even play, because factoring in everything else I just find it farcical, it’s a European final and it just makes me not give 2 $hits about it, doesn’t even feel like it because the season ended last week as well
It definitely is a farce and gives no credibility to the competition. As bad as Platinni was when he was head, it wasn't ever this crap
Money has done a lot of good for the game, but there comes a time where you have to use some sense
=============================
Unfortunately, "sense" is for UEFA not to furiously check on lastminute.com for hundreds, if not thousands, of hotel rooms for their big-wigs and corporate sponsors.
I understand your grievances, however.
So fecking ridiculous. Both sets of fans, as well as neutrals should just be looking forward to the actual match. Not talking about these stupid avoidable issues. For the Europa league Arsenal V Chelsea is one of the biggest finals the competition could have hoped for, in terms of size of club, fan base etc. But UEFA with their greed have royally fecked it for their own competition and fans of the game
There must be a provision that if two teams from the same federation reach the final the venue for the final can be changed to the teams' home country, to a venue decided by their FA. It saves fans the hassle and expense of travelling and will eliminate profiteering by unscrupulous travel agents, airlines and hotels.
They're due a corruption investigation.
Imagine if we lose this game after we could have pulled out aswell O dear lol

A shambles of a competition. Shame we will be in it again next year after Emery failed to beat Brighton at home in a crucial game
didn't realise the game is 11pm kick off baku time as well even moreof a joke
He had the chance to play but chose not to. It's his fault.
When was the venue chosen to host the final?
Was it before the tournament started? If so then maybe the teams apposed to it should have withdrawn then.
