Expecting lots of cheap tickets for the final to start floating about now.

I'd wait. When the Aussies win tomorrow...you could probably just walk into the ground

England fans travel all over the world to support their team. West Indies, New Zealand, Australia, India, Pakistan etc. Best travelling support in the world, by far.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly. India fans travel from Erdington to Edgbaston and think they rule the world.

But can't get down the M6

But can take planes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nice to see the fans giving the team some home support but I guess if you throw i a holiday so there is something in it for them, then it's ok. Pathetic support
If Aus do make the final a day night game would be great. It would allow supporters of the two top teams in the world to watch the game in their home country.

Love India getting dumped out, the silence in the stadium is hilarious
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's because it is full of India fans.
Just like Edgbaston when India played England.
You may get a bit of noise you the Barmy Army bothered to buy any tickets. Poor support in all honesty
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s because they scream and shout without actually watching anything, context doesn’t mean anything to them. Unlucky today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They are there and supporting. Where were the England fans in Edgbaston. let me guess...Sitting posting on JA606
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’ve seen the stadiums in India during test matches, no one cares. All they care about is hitting boundaries and flashy kits, come test match they haven’t a clue. Test matches in England are always full
I was on my knees praying for rain after the 20th over, thinking that this team who their fans lauded as the cricketing equivalent of Brazil 1970. I was shaking, trembling, buttocks fully clenched, totally petrified of this juggernaut that was about to trample all over us if we got to the final
Then I switched on the TV....

Don't talk rubbish.
England v India and England v Australia are probably the only Test matches which sell out.
The rest have empty seats everywhere.
Well I am a neutral. I would say, English are the ones who truly support their team for the sake of sport. Everywhere England is playing you can see the support behind them. Even a test match in Windies get a healthy crowd of english supporters. Closely followed by Aus and India.. Rest of the world, cricket is sadly not that well supported.
You dont see much empty seat in england in any test against any team... Whereas in india only aus or eng match (on weekend that too) draw crowd for test matches..
Holders of ICC events:
50 Over WC - Aus (Eng and NZ still possible)
Champions Trophy - Pakistan
World T20 - West Indies
Mickey mouse cup - India
Even though India lost, I still think they should get a trophy
King of the Group Stages
Another Aus wc win would be really too boring. And also not good for world cricket. Nz or eng victory would be good for general world cricket.. just see what an impact 83 indian victory had over indian cricket.. Really rooting for an english victory tomorrow...

Agreed
Kohhli, Doni, Abhinandan & Modi ...
Your boys took one hell of a beating !!
It's ironic that India 'allowed' England to beat them to eliminate Pakistan, helping New Zealand into the semi's ... and then got spanked by the Kiwis.
And to all the arrogant Indian fans who bought tickets to the final, enjoy your day out at Lord's!!!
Yeah it was stupid of India to lose that match. They should have preferred playing pak in the semi because in world cup an indian win in an ind-pak game is a given. On a hindsight, pak supporters might be happy too because they know their team couldnt in all likelihood have stopped india from reaching the final.
Even if India had won the match (like they were ever going to do Pak a favour ), Pak would've bottled the match vs Afghanistan under the extra pressure
Yeah, anyone who didn't want India to reach the final wouldn't have wished them to meet pak in the semi.
