You really cannot be this fecking thick

At least this might mean Jones or Smalling are out instead.

Ole is hardly going to alienate players he may need to use if we don't sign anyone. Also it helps us get a better price I'd imagine if we don't seem desperate to sell.

Difference between alienating people and telling them they are important and in his plans.

At risk of having ja606 burnt to the ground I've seen it suggested in some parts that Ole loves Rojo and sees him potentially occupying the DM role.

“Sky Sources” also reckon we’ve lost interest in de Ligt because he’s expected to go to Barca. Perhaps we’ve lost interest because we know Rojo wants to stay

Worse than than Jon. Ole wants Rojo stay. 😐

I'd rather have Rijo in the line up than Jones.

Why so much hate for Rojo btw?

Bit of a liability at LB but I think he has looked much better as a CB. Indeed under the Jose era we looked our strongest with him and Bailly partnering each other.

He organises/is vocal, not afraid of a challenge, happy to receive the ball, bring it out of defence and reasonably quick.

He is injury prone but so is everybody else, seems to be a deeper issue with our medical team and trainers.

Have you watched him play the last 18 months.
Yeah he likes a challenge...he is a complete liability flying into challenges bordering on a red most of them.

Yes he is happy to receive the ball. It’s what he does with it that is the problem. He is truly dreadful with it. He honestly is our worst player with the football. City game at home in 17/18 season was the perfect example. I have never seen a united player hoof the ball as I did that game by Rojo

Add to the fact he is injury prone then 100% he has to be first out the door especially considering we need a CB desperately

posted on 26/5/19

He’s not the worst defender by any means. But his inability to stay fit & our need for a revamp in that area of the pitch means he’s surplus.

Given in the last 24 months he has made 16 starts and 4 apps from the bench I'm not sure anyone has seen him play

Rojo has actually been fit quite a bit under Jose since his knee injury and just not selected.

Rojo avgs 2.1 pts per match in the premier league.

Bailly avgs 2.2
Jones avgs 1.82 (Post SAF)
Lindelof avgs 1.82
Smalling avgs 1.76 (Post SAF)

We pick up more points with Bailly and Rojo playing than any of the other centre backs.

Didn't seem that complex...

What an awful way to look at it. Have you actually watched Rojo? Would you seriously keep him?

posted on 26/5/19

He's awful. If you ignore his rashness, poor positioning and awful injury record, he's still borderline in terms of keeping him.

Having said that, there's no guarantee we'll be able to sell. In which case, it makes sense to make him feel like a valued squad member. I doubt Ole considers Rojo a vital member of our squad, in truth

posted on 26/5/19

Rojo’s our worst cb. Those stats don’t really change that.

We can't sell everybody. Hard to do even on football manager.

Jones and Smalling should be first out. They've been here a long time and not yet have they shown to be of the consistent required standard for a top team.

Bailly is still raw so maybe a bit of coaching could bring him along.
Lindelof has youth on his side and could also improve.

Rojo is greatly experienced and can cover LB (In a tight spot) if needed.

Take a look at all 3 next summer and maybe move another 1/2 along.
