Not particularly bothered about Borderlands but will definitely be giving Sonic Mania a go.

Ah cool, I dont have borderlands but may give them a go!

May's free games were horrendous, maybe the worst I've seen

And Sony pull out another cracking month - since moving to only PS4 games its pretty much been gem after gem.

Good job Sony

Certainly not missing my PS3 games.......cant even remember the last time I turned the poor thing on

Unfortunately I own both of these

What is Sonic Mania, is it like the megadrive collection of the old games? or a re vamped version of the old games, or a brand new game like when they did Sonic 4 or something?

It is in the vein of the original mega drive games with a few levels starting the same.

The team behind it were hired by SEGA to create a better genesis/megadrive port for mobiles for the 25th anniversary and they did such a great job it was moved to a game for all consoles/PC.

Had a go on Sonic earlier.

Bloody fantastic and if you grew up with 1,2, S&K and 3 like I did then you're in for a real treat. The levels are gorgeous, really well designed and absolutely huge. I would love to see them in detail like one of those high mega-pixel camera shots. I have no idea how many different routes there are and the frame rate is perfect which for Sonic is of massive importance because it's faster than ever.

Going back to the like of an updated Chemical Plant Zone and Flying Battery Zone really brought back memories

The games been played to death at our place and the youngest paid for the DLC so he could have the extra characters from other series.

No matter how many times I play it though I love the scenes where they remix/warp the levels and the chemical plant start where sonic gets a drop of something on him and has to shake it off always makes me smile

For anyone who has downloaded Borderlands (Or anyone who owns the game too) Gearbox have announced free DLC for Borderlands 2 to bring the game up to speed with the next game out in September. The DLC is available now by the sound of it
