He's gone far beyond self control now Sem, he needs sectioning it's beyond a disease with Gazza it's now a crutch he can't live without that's killing him.

Amount of time he's had out and having to watch us get to the final without being involved will have him absolutely chomping at the moment.
Nobody is 100% match fit on either side. If anything he might be sharper with such a long break.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Shouldn't have got himself injured then with his overly enthusiastic antics a la Gascoigne style
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just seen a vid of Gazza out his mind begging for cocaine. So sad to see.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
don't feel sorry for him at all.
I have no sympathy towards junkies at all
no one to blame but himself
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bit harsh mate.
I admit I was for Kane on the bench but the nearer I get to kick off my opinion has changed. If Kane is fit he should start.

It’s sad to see such an icon end up like that. Even Best was nowhere near this bad.

Good read here on full backs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Largely agree but there's a couple of weird bits in there. Messi doesn't play as a wide forward, so not really fair to criticise him for failing to track full backs. Also, not sure Son is a more natural presser than Lucas.
Still, good read.

Back to the tried and tested and our most effective combination up front: Eriksen, Dele, Kane and Son. That 4 when they play look the most dangerous. Harsh on Moura but if that 4 gives us the best chance then so be it.

Over the last 2 CL seasons:
Kane 15 games, 12 goals, 3 assists
Son 18 games, 8 goals, 1 assist
Moura 12 games, 5 goals, 0 assists
Dele 12 games, 2 goals, 7 assists
Eriksen 17 games, 4 goals, 5 assists
But when those 4 are together, the understanding is there. They all play better, especially Dele.
Great stats those, flashy.
currently (at 15:53) the vote is:
to start 12
on the bench 12
This illustrates the massive dilemma Poch will have. I'm glad I don't have to decide!
Ps
I've ignored the 3 and 2 star votes.

I'm worrying that if we lose Poch will be blamed regardless because of this dilemma
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree. As someone said earlier, he's in a "damned if you do/damned if you don't" situation.
Kane hasn't kicked a ball in anger for ages. Be a huge call starting him.
I think he could be a game changer for you. Trust with what got you there and bring on Kane to try and win it for you in last 30mins???
The other downside to starting him also is if the game goes to ET he's very unlikely to be able to last the pace.
Tough call though.

One a side note do any of you think Poch could play a back 5? With your wing backs pushing Trent and Robbo backwards to stop us having width and minimalizing their impact on the game?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No. Not after Ajax, we damn near threw it all away playing a back 5. Especially with Winks back. It'll be be a back 4.
Have to start Kane if he is fit 100%. The only discussion to be had is whether he is fit or not, because apart from that, he starts.

Starts, nobody on either side has played a competitive game in 3 weeks so match fitness isn't the issue it would normally be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Starts, limps off early, an unnecessary sub is used up prematurely
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He could be subbed on, limp off and then its two subs used up.
If Kane doesn’t play well Poch will be criticised whatever he does with regard to Kane.
The risk of not playing him far outweighs the risk of not playing him.

Exactly this. The question I have asked Spurs fans and still nobody has answered, if the roles were reversed and Salah was out for a few months, but finally got, ready and raring to go. Would they shove Salah on the bench in a CL final? Not a chance. If Kane is fit, which going by reports, Kane and Pochettino he clearly is, then Kane starts. You don’t bench the best striker on the planet ffs
