yeah....uefa is equiv to the milk cup,
don't want spertz winning the european cup...no siree
Shame Arsenal didn't get any help from Sissoko : Hand of God II
Saturday night and I like the way you move, Mr Origi
Yes
When you take a step back and look at what we would have expected this season, a Europa league win would have been punching above our weight.
Emery will hopefully rebuild Arsenal from here while that defeat will damage Spurs
‘Emery will hopefully rebuild Arsenal from here while that defeat will damage Spurs’
Poch has less work to do this summer than Emery, potentially with the benefit of CL money too...
Out of the permutations possible, that was the second best outcome so although not happy, at least we don't have to build that spaceship just yet.
Spurs are mirroring us.
quite spooky.
A decade without a trophy awaits them while they pay off a billion pound stadium. The fact they actually haven't won a trophy for 2 decades means they probably won't notice.
Yeah it’s odd in a way. My boss is a Spurs supporter, and he couldn’t believe they’d got to the final and might actually become champions.
I remember thinking - knowing - we’d totally deserved to get there.
People saying Spurs will crack on from here really don’t care for history, I guess...
Lets be honest spurs were lucky to get to the final. City battered them but due to Ederson being a fool they lost and Ajax also gave them a hiding before deciding to defend for the past 40 mins and then blowing it.
Not to mention them barely scraping through the group stage.
Now THAT could’ve been interesting had they dropped into the Europa!

Yeah. If Martinez scored that late chance for Inter vs PSV then they would have been
Would be happier if we had won and they had lost, but hey-ho.
Good for Chelsea they have had their cake and eaten it.
Anyway I’m playing devil’s advocate.
Win win or lose lose... there was only one vaguely palatable outcome really.
Happier than I would have been had we both won

By far. I was amused some Arsenal fans would rather we both win than we both lose. It's hard enough squaring with the reality Liverpool are European champions (thanks Valverde, you incompetent caant). It's hard to imagine a universe where fecking Tottenham are European champions. Imagine Kane lifting the trophy.
I am not. We dont deserve to win and I accept that we werent good enough to be in the CL. It's clear that Liverpool would win a major trophy in the near future. They are far away from Arsenal now. Spurs arent far away from us. The League table showed it. That they reached the CL final was also luck.

Absolutely.
Liverpool proved you don't have to have great individuals to win things and be at the top.
They have an excellent manager, who has assembled a very good team who are organized in every department all working for each other.
It's time for Arsenal to rebuild totally.

Great, we just need a manager and owner capable of doing just that.

Liverpool do have some great individuals though and pretty much always have done. Coutinho was and Firminho, Sale & Mane are as is Van Dijk and you could name 2 or 3 more probably too. Oh, they are also good team players sure but they are all outstanding individual performers too.
