It's more about the strategy against tottenham. They're very similar to us and disrupt your game. We were better in both the defensive and final third.

Yes we were however our general attacking play was poor last night.
Feel like klopp's tactics were set up well for the conditions. Players were getting tired really quickly and we set out to simply contain them and break every now and again. The early (fortunate) goal helped a lot. Wasn't worried at 1-0 which I usually would be. Could've played another 90 minutes and still don't think spurs would have scored.
Yeah, it was tactical, klopp said as much post game, the players were exhausted.
We got our noses in front, then used our incredible defense and workmanlike midfield to contain spurs while trying to hit them on the break, it wasnt a classic to watch, and it was one of our least entertaining games of the season, but seeing that tactical astuteness in difficult conditions was Great game management.
They didnt get a shot on target untill well into the 70th. They didnt suddenly become pub standard, it was absoloutely our defence that deserves praise
You can't play 100 games with 100miles speed in a season...
I struggle to see what the 'strategy' was. Bobby hardly got a kick, Sadio was running himself into the ground, Mo was well covered.
A pretty dire game all round. Spurs appeared to be the better side. I say 'appeared' because going down to the penalty in the second minute the world and his dog knew they had to come out and attack, and to a degree, they did. When our keeper, for me, is MOTM, with VvD alongside him that tells you where the action was.
My team won the European Cup/CL for the sixth time.
That's all that matters.

All I have read the past few weeks is how this was a 50/50 game. It never was going to be and last proved it. We were poor and there’s no doubt that 3 weeks of no competitive football hampered both teams; however, we didn’t need to play any better.
Having said that, we have been far superior to Spurs throughout the season and all over the park. There was only ever going to be one winner. Nice of Sissoko to clothes-line the ball though, just to help settle any nerves we may have had.
Only going to bed now. Gwan the 6 times reds, what a team and what a gang of lads. The very best team in Europe, I'll take that all fecking day.
Honestly was so worried we'd end up with nothing. 97 points and lose another final, I'm not sure I could have handled that. If this team, in this season didn't win a real one then what's the fecking point. We couldn't have been better this year and this team and manager deserve every inch of this.
Jordan Henderson, a lad I love and sometimes loathe, not great tonight, really only Alisson and Virgil were, but there he was, lifting number 6, the pure emotion in him, he's finally done it, lifted the biggest of them all as captain of Liverpool. Our captain, top top man.
Finally to our manager, the man who has transformed the club. Right time for the right man with the right club. Serial cup final loser, no shying away from that it was true. Got gold round his neck tonight though.
Allez Allez Allez
Yeah we didn’t play great but we were the ones lifting ol’ big ears and that’s all I’m a###d about hahaha. Taking the kids bowling at 12 with the worst hangover ever!!!
dodgy pen and parked bus.
Ref player of the season for you
I'd rather you had outplayed us. As it stands it feels like an unearned win. Not saying we deserved to win either though.
Congratulations. You were awful last night, but deserved the trophy.
We were far more dangerous than spurs in the first half. Dunno where the narrative of being awful comes from..
Compared to our brilliant best, yeah we were poorer, but still good enough.
So we have set high standards, still won the European cup again.
