It's not our fault if the referee decides to gift the opposition a ridiculous penalty in the first minute.
As ridiculous as allowing Llorente's goal in the QF.
Some you win, some you lose.

Don, agreed mate, but there is something seriously more wrong with Sprus than conceding early goals. Two or three years back, conceding first would not have mattered, the team would have come back and won comfortably. Now when they go behind, they have no game plan how to get back into a game. It is just all huff and puff and hope for the best. Major changes to the side needed next season mate. I shall be putting up a long article later about where it has all gone wrong this season.
Hope you enjoyed last night all the same. One of the reasons I did not go, I took the easy option, and turned the TV off a couple of minutes from the end.

''where it has all gone wrong this season''?
Finished fourth qualifying for the Champs League next season and getting to the Champs League Final...I must be missing something? Gutted but be pragmatic, with a team such as ours and the distraction of the stadium build we've had an amazing season others would give their right arm for surely?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well it has all gone wrong mate, Spurs may have got to the latter stages of a couple of cup competitions, but they have looked further away from actually winning anything than ever before. If you were happy with what you saw last night, and for the past few months, then you must be easily pleased. The team has gone stale.

Don, can you now see why many spurs fans wanted Kane to start on the bench?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To blame last night on Kane is ridiculous. The team has been absolutely dire for months with or without Kane. Last night was just a continuation of the poor form. I was hopeful, but truthfully expected very little. My only beef is that Spurs actually lost to a worse side on the night.

Nothing wrong with Llorente`s goal. Perfectly good, and the ref made 100 per cent the correct decision.
Next season is spend big and upgrade the squad or fall further back in to the pack.
Unfortunately we will be losing Toby & eriksen imo which means when we replace we’ll be no better.
If I was poch I’d be off now. Not sure this club will ever have it in them to win anything.

Mate, Kane wasn’t at fault for conceding a 27 second penalty was he ? That’s what lost us the game. It’s easy to say now Kane shouldn’t of started as we lost, but say we lost and Kane didn’t start ? People be going nuts saying Kane should of started. It was the right decision, we just bottled it in 27 seconds.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No it was not Kane’s fault we gave away a pen but you can clearly see Kane was no where near his best.
We would never have known what would happen had moura started over Kane but your comments that it shouldn’t be up for discussion shows you were wide of the mark.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Completely disagree. If Kane is fit which he was and nothing in that game suggested he wasn’t, then he starts. Nobody else played that great, I take it you are going to question their fitness now ? The whole team were poor bar the odd player, it’s nothing to do with Kane being unfit. Absolute ridiculous mate and a right easy cop out to say “ I told you so “ when we lost. That 1st 27 second penalty cost us, not Harry Kane. Best striker in the world, should start all the time if fit.

Don - never a penalty !!

Agreed. Seems like the Ref wanted Liverpool to win, he was awful. But it was still spursy to concede a penalty in 27 seconds in a CL final
